TMNT (Leo x Karai Leorai)

Chapter 3

It had been a few days since Karai had left, but was going to back in a day or two. Since Karai had been gone, Leo had been more bored Karai kept things interesting. Since he couldn't go out on patrol, he just sat around the lair training without training too hard that he would hurt himself. Right now Leo was sitting on the couch waiting for the others to get back from patrol.

(Donnie  POV) Mikey, Donnie, and April were grouped together on patrol while Raph and Casey were together. Donnie looked over at April as he thought how beautiful she was, but there was no way she would go for someone like him. Donnie thought to himself as he turned to look down onto the street below. April glanced over at Donnie while thinking of before glancing back to street. Just then Donnie's T phone rang. "Hey Raph what's up?" Donnie asked. "It's the shredder he ambushed Casey and I so get over here as quick as you can." Raph said as he ran back into the fight. "We need to go help Raph and Casey." Donnie said as he hung up the T phone. "What's happening?" April asked. "Shredder ambushed them." Donnie said. "Oh Shreadhead is going down!" Mikey said as they took off to Raph and Casey's location.

(Leo POV) "They should have been back from patrol by now." Leo thought as he started to pace nervously around the living room. Just then Leo's T phone rang, he looked at it to see that Donnie was calling. "Hey Donnie what's taking - -." Leo was saying until he was interrupted. "This isn't Donatello." The voice said from the other side of the phone. "Shredder why do you have Donnie's phone?" Leo asked as he jumped up from the couch. "Come get them Leonardo, also don't tell Splinter or it will be the end for them." Shredder said as he hung up. Leo headed to his room to gear up on supplies that he would need for this mission. "Please forgive me sensai." Leo thought to himself as he checked that Splinter wasn't around before heading out.

(Mikey POV) Mikey came to, and found himself, Donnie, Raph, Casey and April all tied up with chains. Mikey looked around to see that the others were waking up too. "What do you want with us?" April asked Shredder as he stood over them. "Nothing I just need to Leonardo here so I can get Splinter." Shredder replied. "Well Leo won't fall for your trap." Donnie. "He will when your lives are on the line." Shredder said. Just then the glass overhead shattered as Fishface and Rahzar fell through it. "What's going on?" Shredder asked as Leo jumped in. "I just took out your grunts." Leo said as he freed the others from the chains with his katana. "Get going guys, I'll be right behind you guys." Leo said as he turned to fight Shredder. "So you're fighting me on your own so be it." Shredder said as he attacked. "Leo come on, we're going." Raph said as the others started to escape. "Go now Raph, hurry before Shredder gets free." Leo said as he held off Shredder. "Leo I'm not leaving without you." Raph said. "No arguing that's an order I'm the leader go lead help the others." Leo said. "Ok Leo I'll be back to rescue you." Raph said as he escaped with the others.

(Leo POV) "So it's just you left, that was foolish to stay by yourself." Shredder said. "Keeping my brothers and friends safe is my 1st priority." Leo said as he jumped back and started to breath heavily. Tigerclaw then appeared and knocked Leo to the ground, "Should I finish him master?" Tigerclaw asked. "No we can get information out of him take him to a cell." Shredder said as Tigerclaw dragged Leo to a cell.

(Raph POV) Raph and the others had just escaped into the sewer. "We have to go back for Leo." Raph said. "No Raph we need to go back to the liar Mikey, Casey, and April are all pretty banged up we'll get Leo back tomorrow night." Donnie said. "Fine." Raph said as they all headed back to the lair. When they arrived back at the lair they were surprised to see that Karai was already back with her friend from Japan. "Father I'm back." Karai called to Splinter who walked out. "It's a pleasure to meet you Karai had told so much about you. Karai's friend said as she bowed. "Thank you what is your name." Splinter asked. "Shinigami." Shinigami replied. "Well Shinigami it is good to welcome you to the Homato clan we need all the help we can get." Splinter said. Raph looked over to see everyone's reaction to her joining the clan, everyone seemed ok with it and he noticed that Mikey was staring dreamily at her. "First love huh, Raph had been there with Mona who had been staying with Slash and the others. "It's an honor to join the Homato clan." Shinigami said. Splinter then turned his attention to his sons, April, and Casey who were all beat up. "Shinigami these are the other members of the Homato clan." Splinter said assuming Leo was in his room and thinking they just had a tough patrol. "Isn't there supposed to be 4 turtles ?" Shinigami asked. "Oh yes Leonardo he must be in his room, Leonardo get out here." Splinter called. When no one came out, splinter called again. "He must be listening to music or something." Splinter said. "Actually ...". Mikey said before Raph hit him in the back of the head. "Shut it Mikey." Raph said. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" Splinter asked. "Donnie explain it." Mikey said. Donnie sighed as he explained. (One explanation later). "He did what?! Karai asked in anger as she started pace angrily. "He shouldn't even be out there he's injured out of all the bone headed things he could go. You've got to be kidding me. Why does he always have to put others ahead of himself? Karai said as she continued to rant to herself. "I didn't know you cared Karai?" Raph said with a slight smirk. "I don't, I mean I do he's our leader we need him to defeat the Shredder. Karai said as she slightly turned red. Shinigami noticed as she smiled at her friend. "Let's go save Leo." Karai said as she grabbed her katana and started to head for the exit to the lair. "Karai this is not the time to save Leonardo you and Shinigami just got back from a long trip while the others are all beat up." Splinter said. "Father we can't leave Leo there." Karai protested. "Leonardo will have to hang on for now." Splinter said. "Ok father." Karai said as everyone dispersed Karai went to show Shini her room while the others were treated for their injuries. "Please just hang in there Leo we'll be there soon." Karai thought to herself hoping that Leo could somehow hear her words.
