TMNT (Leo x Karai Leorai)

Chapter 12

It had been 2 weeks since Leo and Karai started dating although neither of them would admit that they were.
(Leo POV)
Leo had decided that today would be the day that he asked out Karai. However he was nervous and  he needed advice on how to ask Karai out.

Leo was sitting in his room going through the options in his head. Donnie no he had struggled too much with April before she had finally said yes. Raph no too aggressive for Leo's liking, Casey ... no just no,and finally Mikey was who Leo settled on. Mikey was nice and friendly and things seemed to be going well with him and Shini.

Leo made his way towards Mikey's took to ask for advice. Luckily for Leo Mikey was alone in his room reading a comic book.

"Hey Leo what's up?" Mikey asked noticing Leo.

"Hey Mikey I need some advice on something." Leo said as he looked for a clean spot in Mikey's room, but couldn't find one so he just decided to stand.

"Woah I've never given anyone advice before this is so cool." Mikey said excitedly.

"Mikey calm down." Leo said trying to calm his brother down.

"Ok do what do you need advice on?" Mikey asked.

"I'm going to ask Karai out and I'm not sure how to." Leo said.

"Are you sure you want to ask me?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah you seemed like the best option, things between you and Shini seem to be going well." Leo said.

"Yeah things are going great." Mikey said in a dream tone as he began to daydream.

"Mikey stay focused." Leo said as he snapped his fingers at Mikey bringing him back to attention.

"Right sorry Leo you shouldn't overthink it, just ask Karai out normally be yourself." Mikey said as he laid down back on his bed.

"Ok thanks Mikey." Leo said as he left Mikey's room looking for Karai.

Leo found Karai in the dojo training. "Hey Karai can I ask you something?" Leo asked mustering all the courage he could.

"Sure what's up Leo?" Karai asked as she turned to him.

"Will you go out with me tonight?" Leo asked.

Kari was surprised that Leo had been so direct about it, but she was still happy about it. "Sure Leo sounds good." Karai said.

"Great be ready at 8 and I've already got a place picked out." Leo said as he gave Karai a kiss on the cheek and headed to his room to get ready.

(A few hours later)
Leo was ready dressed in a shirt up shirt and dress pants.

Leo was waiting for Karai to get ready as Shini and April were helping her get ready.

Karai finally came out 15 minutes and all Leo could do was stare as he tried to talk, but couldn't as he continued to stare at Karai.

Karai was in a all black dress with makeup on. Karai smiled as she saw Leo staring. "You ready to go or do you want to keep staring?" Karai asked teasing.

Leo snapped out his trance embarrassed. "Ok let's go." Leo said as they started to head out.

Before they left Leo turned to Raph. "You guys can take care of patrol tonight you don't need us right?" Leo asked.

"For the hundredth time Leo we'll be fine now get out of here." Raph said as Leo and Karai left.

Leo guided Karai through New York and finally stopped at a fancy restaurant. "How'd you even find this place?" Karai asked.

"I saw it once on patrol now let's go in." Leo said as they both headed in.

Throughout the meal Karai had to teach Leo to eat properly and in front of people because people started to look at Leo as he ate messily at first, but a glare from Karai made them look away.

"This was amazing thank you Leo." Karai said at the end of the meal.

"No problem Karai, it was fun and I'm glad you enjoyed it." Leo said.

As they leant in to kiss both of their t phones went off. Both were annoyed to the interruption, but looked at their phones to check what it was.

Once they saw why it rang their eyes widen, it was Casey's alarm meaning that he was in trouble. Leo threw some money on the table to pay for the meal and they both rushed out of the restaurant.

They quickly ran from roof top to roof top following Casey's t phone wondering what trouble the other got into.

They finally arrived at Casey's location, and see a beaten up Casey lying on the roof.

"Casey." Leo said as he ran to Casey with Karai by his side.

"Come on wake up Casey." Leo said slightly shaking Casey.

Casey's eyes slowly opened.

"Casey who did this to you?" Kari said.

"Shredder." Casey said softly as Leo and Karai's hearts sank once they heard the word leave his mouth.
