TMNT (Leo x Karai Leorai)

Chapter 11

This takes place later in the day from the last chapter.
(Leo POV)
Leo was meditating in the dojo as he thought back to earlier in the day and couldn't get his mind off of something that happened.

"Why was Karai awake so early in the morning?" Leo thought to himself. "She said that she was having a tough time sleeping due to being in a new place." Leo thought back to when she said that and how she said it.

Leo couldn't shake off the feeling that Karai wasn't being completely honest with him as he continued to think back to the memory. Leo then opened his eyes coming out of mediation and ran a hand through his hair as he thought about the best way to approach Karai about this. (Leo's hair is the exact same style as Dick Grayson when he is Nightwing plus having a blue streak in his hair.)

Leo headed out of the dojo looking for Karai, Leo headed into the living room looking for her. Leo was met with something he wished he could erase from his mind. Mikey and Shini were making out on the couch. "Seriously Mikey you guys need to get a room." Leo said as Mikey and Shini sat up quickly looking at Leo with blushes on their faces.

"Come on Leo, you had to interrupt us we don't interrupt you and Karai when you guys make out." Mikey said as he and Shini shot glares at him.

"Karai and I don't make out on the couch or in front of others, we try not to have public affection it's not Karai's style." Leo said.

"Speaking of Karai have either of you seen her?" Leo asked looking at the two of them.

"No we haven't ask Donnie he's in his lab." Shini said.

"Ok thanks." Leo said as he walked to Donnie's lab.

"Come on let's go to my room." Mikey said as he grabbed Shini by the hand leading her there.

Leo entered Donnie's lab and wished he could erase what he what he saw again. Donnie and April were making out on Donnie's work station. "Donnie get a room." Leo said as he turned his back to them not wanting to see them anymore.

When Leo turned around they were both standing apart blushing lightly. "So what's up Leo?" Donnie asked.

"I'm just looking for Karai." Leo said.

"She went out on patrol why are you looking for her?" April asked casting a look at Leo.

"No reason thanks for the help." Leo said a bit nervously and he took off before they could question him.

(Karai POV)
Karai was sitting on a rooftop just watching as people went along their everyday lives as she was deep in thought. "So I finally found you." Leo said as she looked over to see him in his normal blue gi, along with his mask, and normal attire.

"You've been looking for me?" Karai asked.

"Yes come with me." Leo said with a serious tone. Karai listened to him without question just off of the tone of his voice.

Karai was looking at Leo as they both sat on Leo's bed in his room. "So Karai what's bothering you?" Leo asked.

"Nothing is bothering me." Karai said as she stood up to leave trying to get out of there as quickly as she could.

Leo grabbed her arm preventing her from leaving, "don't lie to me Karai." Leo said his eyes piercing into her searching for the truth.

Karai caved in, "fine I've been having nightmares about the shredder." Karai said as she sat down and hung her head.

"For how long?" Leo asked his gaze still piercing into her.

"Since I left the foot clan and him." Karai said.

"That's been weeks Karai why didn't you tell anyone?" Leo asked in disbelief.

"Because I didn't want to seem weak." Karai said quietly.

"Oh Karai no one would think you're weak for having nightmares." Leo said as he wrapped his arms around Karai and she let him.

"Thank you Leo it means a lot for you to say that." Karai said as she gave Leo a little kiss on the cheek.

"No problem Karai." Leo said as he looked from Karai to answer and once he looked back down at her she was already snoring.

Leo looked down at Karai as she slept pracefully, "sleep well Karai sleep well." Leo said quietly as he lightly kissed her on her forehead and he settled into his bed next to her and drifted off to sleep along side her.
