TMNT (Leo x Karai Leorai)

Chapter 5

Leo had been successfully rescued and was in Donnie's lab recovering.

(Leo POV) Leo could hear voices talking as he slept and he jolted awake to see the others all staring at him. "Leo calm down you're pretty hurt." Donnie said as he gently helped Leo off the lab table. "Are you ok Leo?" Mikey asked. "Fine Mikey." Leo said as he looked at his arm wrapped in bandages. "What did the Shredder want from you?" Shini asked. "He just wanted to know where the lair is, but I didn't say anything." Leo said as he winced grabbing at him arm. "Leonardo I would like to talk to you can you meet me in the dojo?" Splinter asked as he started to head to the dojo. "Yes sensai." Leo said as he made his way towards the dojo. Karai followed Leo out of lab planning to talk to him before he talked to Splinter. "Casey and I have got to get home." April said as she and Casey headed out. "I'm going to feed Chompy." Raph said as he headed out of the lab. Donnie realized that Mikey and Shini were gone too, he had no idea where they went. Donnie started to daydream about April again and then an idea came to him as he started to write a formula on the whiteboard.

(Karai POV) Karai ran to catch up to Leo. "Leo wait up." Karai said as Leo turned around. "What's up Karai?" Leo asked. "I just want to know if you're ok." Karai said. "I'm fine Karai no need to worry." Leo said. "Are you sure Leo you were imprisoned by the shredder and tortured." Karai said. "Don't worry Karai I'm fine." Leo said trying to convince her. "Ok Leo I'm here if you ever need to talk." Karai said. "Thanks Karai I appreciate it." Leo as he headed into the dojo.

(Leo POV) Leo sat down in dojo across from Splinter. "So Leonardo what did the Shredder ask you?" Splinter asked. "He just wanted to know where the lair is but I refused to tell him." Leo said. "How are you feeling Leonardo?" Splinter asked. "Sensai I'm fine, I don't feel different." Leo said. "Leonardo you were tortured, you are holding emotions in and you need to let them out." Splinter said. "Sensai I'm not holding anything I'm really fine." Leo said as he stood up and headed for the door. Splinter looked at Leo leave as he was worried for Leo.

(POV Mikey) "Hey Donnie lunch is ready." Mikey said as he entered Donnie's lab. Mikey then saw Donnie mixing chemicals while writing on a whiteboard. "Donnie what are you doing?" Mikey asked. Donnie had been so wrapped up in his work he didn't hear Mikey enter and he almost dropped the test tube. "Thank goodness." Donnie said as he caught it. "Mikey to answer your question I'm making a chemical that will make mutants human." Donnie said. "Why would we want to be human?" Mikey asked. "We'll do you want to live in the sewer your whole life or do you want to go out their and live be around other people have a life." Donnie said. Mikey then realized why Donnie was making this. "Oh you're making this so you can be with April." Donnie blushed dark red. Mikey started laughing in response. "Mikey don't laugh, I just don't think April would go for me if I was a giant mutant turtle. You think Shini would go for you as a giant mutant turtle." Donnie said as Mikey stopped laughing. "And besides if you like her wouldn't you want to live a normal life with her." Donnie said trying to convince him. "Ok Donnie you make a good point I'm on board. Mikey said. "Ok good don't tell anyone about it until I finish it and then the two of us can try it and see if any of the others want to take it." Donnie said. "Ok sounds good." Mikey said as he walked out of Donnie's lab.
