I woke up to my alarm blaring at 6:30. I had the usual nightmares last night, still waking up drenched in sweat. So, I got up and took a shower, preparing for my day.

When I got out, I dressed in black leggings, an emerald green long sleeve shirt, and black converse. The shirt was just long enough to cover up the scars that were a result of the war.

I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs. I grabbed a water and an apple and headed out the door. Before I entered my car, I waved to Bella who was also getting into her car.

I drove 15 minutes to a small high school that had a sign in front that read "Forks High School, Home of the Spartans." I parked beside Bella and walked over to her door.

"Hey Bella," I said through her window.

"Hey Elara," She responded, grabbing her bag and opening her door.

She got out and as we walked by, a dark-skinned male spoke, "Nice ride," He said, mockingly.

While Bella responded, "Thanks," I fired back with, "Nice face." We continued walking toward the main office after that.

The office was smaller than I imagined. I guess life at Hogwarts got me used to big schools. The office was a small waiting space filled with plants, and awards lined the wall. We walked up to a desk covered with wire baskets filled with papers and colorful flyers taped to the front. Behind the desk was a counter, a large, red-haired woman wearing glasses stood behind it.

She looked up to us, "Can I help you?" She asked.

"I'm Elara Riddle and this is Isabella Swan," I informed her, recognition filled her eyes.

"Of course, the new girls," She said excitedly. She began digging through a large stack of documents and finally pulled out what she was looking for. "I have your schedule and map of the school right here. Just have your schedule signed by all of your teachers and bring it back to me at the end of the day," She said smiling, highlighted lines covering, the map indicating which are the best routes to our classes. We soon exited the office, wishing her a good day before we left.

My schedule went as follows: Precalculus, Advanced English, AP U.S. History, Gym, Lunch, Biology, and French. I had gym, lunch, and biology with Bella.

As we began walking through the halls, an asian teen with a big smile approached us, "You're Isabella Swan and Elara Riddle, the new girls, Hi. I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. Uh, anything you need? Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on?" He stated

"Umm, I'm really more of the suffer in silence type," Bella clarified. Eric looked to me expectantly, "I handle emotions differently," I stated, uninterested.

"Good headlines for your feature. I'm on the paper and you are news baby, front page," Eric explained

"No I-I'm not. Y-you umm please don't have any sort of..." Bella stuttered

"No feature," I said, forcefully

"Woah, woah chillax. No feature. Cool?" Eric reassured us.

After that conversation was over, we headed off to class. I headed to Precalculus. The first two classes went by quickly. I got my paper signed by my teachers, we didn't do much in math but we read Wuthering Heights in English.

I was now heading to my APUSH class. I walked through the door and walked up to the teacher. The minute she saw me she spoke, "You must be Ms. Riddle, I'm Mrs. Bowman, your new APUSH teacher. Please have a seat by Mr. Hale," She said while signing my paper. She looked at a guy with honey blonde hair, "Mr. Hale please raise your hand."
