"These violent delights have violent ends
And in their triumph die, like fire and power,
Which, as they kiss, consume."
Romeo and Juliet, Act II, Scene VI
Time passed quickly once we arrived back at Forks. My birthday has come and gone, spend with the Cullens after Alice hounded me about it. I got several new pieces of jewelry along with plane tickets back to London for whenever I want to go back to see the Weasley's.
The beginning of my senior year at muggle school was filled with a flurry of excitement, more from my human classmates than me or the Cullens. Me because it would never compare to Hogwarts and the Cullens because they have experienced it countless times.
I was more excited for Bella, considering she was human and this was her first experience but she was really touchy about the aging thing.
September 13th, Bella's birthday, approached quickly. Alice had been planning her party since mine ended. I had decided on buying her an emerald green necklace. Even though I had problems with the members of Slytherin, I still hold a place in my heart for my beloved house.
At school, we were going over Romeo and Juliet, which had an essay due soon. I was learning different forms of Bias in AP Statistics and Newton's laws in physics.
It was nothing compared to learning how to make a cure for boils in Potions, meeting a Unicorn in Care of Magical Creatures, and facing my Boggart in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Even my lessons at the Malfoy Manor were preferred to this. At least I learned several useful bits of information. My personal favorites are Legilimency and Occlumency.
Since the fight at the Ballet Studio, it has been harder to contain my need for the Dark Arts. The pleasure that entered my body while casting the unforgivable left my nerve endings tingling for weeks after.
Lady Voldemort, my secret alter ego, has been itching to be realized but I have been meditating and practicing my Occlumency exercises that Lucius and Snape taught me.
Flashbacks of my father's anger-filled hisses met me within my dreams. My mother's insane need for torture and her cackles of glee that were overshadowed by the screams of her victims haunted me in the night.
The only thing that keeps me from snapping is Jasper. My mate, my love. He is the only thing that is keeping me sane while he holds me in his arms after a nightmare, whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
And the other things that keep me moving every day; Emmett's friendship, his competitiveness that comes when we play Mario Kart, or one of his other games. Edward's understanding, his acceptance, and his similarities to my late best friend, Cedric.
Not to mention, Rosalie and Alice. Whenever they aren't with Emmett or Logan, they spend with me, just talking, watching movies, or shopping. Rosalie even showed me her car collection.
The wolf pack in La Push was fun to visit every now and then, not having any new members as of yet. Emily made amazing food, it was almost as good as Molly Weasley's.
Currently, I was getting dressed for Bella's birthday party; dressed in a midnight blue slip dress with black heels. Once I was finished, I made my way down the stairs and into the room where the party was being held. Jasper was already waiting for me. Music was playing in the background. The room was decorated with candles and roses.
