3) Feelings

Xiao's POV

Paimon brought out my Almond Tofu.

"Oh wait, could I get two sodas."

"Sure!"

Paimon brought the drinks out, "That'll be 110 mora."

I paid and grabbed my order, now I have to walk to school. I look at the time, 8:02 am. I still have a bit until my first class starts.

I arrived at school at 8:39am, since we still have time I'll see if Aether is here yet.

Aether: Not yet, I'm still walking, I'm almost there though! Why?

Xiao: Let's meet up when you arrive.

Aether: Oh ok! I'll tell you when I'm here!

Xiao: Okay.

Aether: Where are you?
Xiao: I'll meet you at the school gate.
Aether: Ok!

I saw Xiao come and I waved to him, he waved back. As he was walking towards me, my heart started thumping. I tried ignoring it but looking at Xiao made my heart pound harder.I froze as I watched Xiao walk towards me.

"Hey Aether."

"Aether?"

I snapped back to reality ignoring what just happened.

"Hello!" I said panicking.

"Why'd you want to meet?" I asked him.

"Come." Xiao said grabbing my wrist, I could feel my face turning red.

Xiao took me to a small table outdoor, he let go of my wrist and sat down, I sat down across him.
He placed two sodas on the table and a to go box on the table.

"Have you had breakfast?" Xiao asked me, placing a can of soda in front of me.

"Yea I ate before coming here." I answered grabbing the can of soda.

Xiao opened the to go box and no surprise, it was Almond Tofu.

"Have you eaten?" I said looking over at Xiao tilting my head over a bit.

"No, I just got some food to go." Xiao said grabbing a spoon.

I stared at Xiao as he scooped a piece of Almond Tofu into the spoon, as he was about to put the spoon into his mouth he looked at me.

"Would you like some?" He asked.

"O-oh, no I'm okay!" I said waving my hands around gesturing no.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded and took a sip of my soda looking away from Xiao, I had been blushing again.

"Are you alright Aether?" Xiao asked leaning closer to my face.

I jumped away, "You scared! I'm okay."

"Are you sure? You seem red, are you sick?"

Xiao tried touching my forehead.
