I sighed, 'why does mother want me to get married so quickly I am only in highschool after all. I still have a few years left.. Jeez if only I had somebody then I would have to get married.'

"Venti dear, do you have a girlfriend yet?" My mother asked me as she ate.
"Mother!" I yelled in response.
"Dear, I was just asking. Assuming from your response you don't have a girlfriend." My mother said sighing.
"Mother, you already know I don't want to be in a relationship." I sighed in exhaustion.
"But you'll have to one day. Your father and I were discussing on the phone about finding you a lovely wife for the future." My mother said arguing with me.
"Since when do you and father talk to each other." I said rolling my eyes.
"Your father and I both want what is best for you." My mother said.
'Yeah right..' I thought to myself rolling my eyes again.
"Your father and I are discussing the matter of you moving in with him." My mother said eating.
"What? Why." I said shocked.
"It is best for you. You can learn how to work with your father, at his company." My mother said not looking at me.
"I don't want to work at father's company." I said.
"Why, what else can you do other than working at your fathers company?" My mother shook her head in disappointment.
"I want to be a musician.." I said under my breath.
"This is making my head ache, we will finish this discussion another time." My mother said and quickly left the table.

I laid in bed thinking about my discussion with my mother earlier.
I sighed.
I checked my phone for the time.
I had a meeting with my father later in the evening.
'I wonder if Aether is awake right now, it wouldn't hurt to text him.' I thought to myself.

Venti: you awake?
( 5:15am )
Aether: Yes, why are you awake so early?
Venti: Couldn't sleep, what about you?
Aether: I woke up to use the bathroom, I'm tired!
Venti: Sleep!
Aether: I can't fall asleep.
Venti: Why?
Aether: Sends picture of Xiao sleeping on the couch.
Venti: Is that Xiao.
Aether: He took over the whole couch! D:
Venti: Push him off, lol!
Aether: I don't wanna wake him up.
Venti: Oh, I dunno what to say then. Where are you guys?
Aether: My apartment, Xiao just wanted to stay over!
Venti: When I get back let's all sleepover!
Aether: Sure! Where?
Venti: My place?
Aether: I'm down, we can ask Xiao about it later.
Venti: Alright!
Aether: We'll I'm going to go, talk to you later!
Venti: Alright.. bye!
