Aether's POV
—

I arrived at school on my bike.

7:49 am, it was still early so I jumped off my bike and walked it inside the school, where I would lock it up in the bike rack.

(Please don't jump off you're bike, and if you do don't tell anyone where you got this stupid idea from.)

Once I locked up my bike I decided to go to a bench in the sun.

I grabbed my backup and opened it, grabbing my book out. I focused on my book reading it thoroughly.

I felt someone cover my eyes from my back.

"Guess who?"

'It sounded like Xiao.'

"I don't know." I replied back.

"C'mon think harder."

"Xiao?" I said.

"Correct." Xiao said letting his hand off my face.

Xiao hopped onto the bench putting his head in my lap. I blushed little. I put my book down onto the bench.

"You seem happy today." I said.

"Aren't I always happy?" Xiao replied.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Well I get to see my favorite person." He replied smiling.

"And who's that?" I asked tilting my head.

"You."

I blushed.

"No way! You're lying! Tell me what actually happened!" I said blushing a bit more.

"It's the truth! I promise! " He said gazing into my eyes.

Everything went silent for a few moments then I turned red. He immediately removed his head from my lap, looking away from me.

"Sorry!" He blurred out looking away from me.

I stared at him.

"It's alright.." I said still staring at him from shock.

Xiao was about to say something but suddenly Xingqiu came.

"Hello Aether." Said Xingqiu walking up to us.

"Hey Xingqui!" I waved back.

Xingqui look at Xiao.

"Hello, what is you're name again?" Xingqiu asked.

"Xiao." Xiao said grumpily covering his face.

Xingqui sat down. Xiao looked even grumpier glaring at Xingqiu and I.

"Are you alright?" Xingqiu asked Xiao as he was hooding his face near the bench.

"No." Xiao said still glaring at Xingqiu.

"Would you like to go to the infirmary?" Xingqiu asked without a clue.

Xiao didn't reply but just gave us a stare then turned his attention to the ground.

"I think he needs to be alone." I told Xingqiu.

"Alright, I'll be heading to the library now. See you Aether, and Xiao?" Xingqiu said waving back at us.

I slapped Xiao's back.

"Why are you so rude to Xingqiu!" I said in a yelling tone.

Xiao laid down onto the bench covering his eyes with his arm saying nothing.

'He actually does look sick.'

"Xiao are you alright?" I asked.

Xiao's POV

I woke up in a bed, I looked around.

'Am I in the infirmary?'

"Oh you're awake." I heard a women's voice say.

I looked around.

"Good afternoon." The girl said looking at her book.

" Where am I?" I said looking around

"The school infirmary." The girl replied.

"He seemed pretty worried." She said sitting in a chair reading a book.

"Where is he?" I asked sitting up in the bed.

"Class, probably." The girl replied

"Excuse me, but you seem like a student yourself." I said looking at her.

"I am." She said not looking up from her book.

I looked at her in confusion.

"I am Barbara president of the nursing committee." She said putting her book down.

"You should be getting back to class now if you're feeling better." Barbara said getting out of her chair.

"Right." I nodded and got out of the bed.

After school I had been feeling light headed.

'I don't think I can hang out with Venti and Aether..' I sighed.

Xiao: I'm not feeling too good today. I don't think I will be able to hang out.

Venti: Aw :(

Aether: Feel better soon!

Venti: Hey Aether would you still like to hang out? Just us?

Aether: Uh.. sure?

Venti: Yay!

Aether: Just send me the address I'll be there shortly.

Venti: Sure!

Xiao: Have fun.

' Well I hope they get along. I do admit I'm kind of jealous Venti and Aether are going to be alone together.'

I arrived at the mall which was huge. I rode my bike through the gates where I found a place to lock my bike up.

Venti: Finding a place to park, let's meet up in front of the coffee shop.

Aether: Alright
