Aether's apartment
-
( 10:00pm )
—"Work is so tiring!" I said flopping onto my bed after arriving home.
"I wonder if Xiao's home.. UGH! All these dreams of him is making me so tired!" I yelled messing up my hair scratching it.
'And I have to ask him out for Saturday!' I whined.
"Best to text him now and get it over with!" I said reaching in my pocket for my phone.
"Huh?.. where's my good damn phone!" I worried after I couldn't find it in my pockets.
I got up and started to look for my phone, which was nowhere to be found.
"I swear- I better not have lost it!" I jumped onto my bed whining after not finding it after searching the whole apartment.
"I can't text Xiao now! I'll have to talk to him in person if I want us to hangout!" I shedded some tears.
'Funny how I'm more worried about talking to Xiao more than my lost baby.' I thought laughing at myself.
"I'm so tired, I'll worry about this tomorrow!" I said popping up off of my bed to get change into my sleep wear.
—
"I'm so tired of these dreams of Xiao.." I said laying on my bed half asleep already.
—
"NOT AGAIN." I screamed waking up.
"Seriously, another dream?.. why am I getting these dreams!" I whined after waking up.
"What the time.." I wondered as I reached for my phone, then remembering I have no idea where it is.
"God damn it!" I screamed.
I gotten out of my bed and into my tiny kitchen to check the stove for the time, since the stove had a clock on it.
"6:00am, seriously? I need some serious help." I said rubbing my eyes and going back to my bed.
—
"This is so boring." I said sitting in my room.
"I can't fall asleep again, what can I do." I whined.
I sighed and gotten out of bed once again, walking to the kitchen.
—
I opened my fridge, which was almost empty
'Might as well go buy groceries since I'm already awake.' I sighed.
—
The store was quite empty, no surprise since it was six am.
"Geez, it's so cold!" I said shivering as I enter the store.
I started to look around for things I'd use to buy, since I was staying alone I wouldn't have needed much.
"Excuse me, young man." A lady says grabbing onto my sleeve.
"Huh?" I said turning around to see a elderly lady standing there.
"Sorry for the bother, but could you grab that pack of flour up there, I can't reach." The old lady asked pointing to the packets of flour.
"Ah, sure!" I said grabbing the packets and handing them to her.
"Thank you young man.. say have I seen you before.. you look awfully familiar.." The old lady asked.
"I don't think you have." I replied.
"Ah.. alright.. I must be imagining things or something." The old lady laughed and walked away.
—
"Aether?" A familiar voice said from behind.
"Huh?" I spun around to see Lumine.
"Aether! What are you doing here?" Lumine asked surprised.
"Buying groceries of course." I smiled and replied.
"Oh yeah! Silly me." Lumine replied laughing.
"What are you doing here so early?" I asked.
"I couldn't sleep, and my mom insisted that I go shopping for groceries with my grandmother at this time." Lumine chuckled.
"And I mean, insisted, insisted." Lumine chuckled some more.
"What about you?" Lumine asked.
"I couldn't sleep either." I whined.
"Why? Because you were dreaming of Xiao?" Lumine grinned teasing me.
".. No!" I said lying turning bright red.
"Teasing! Anyways have you asked him about Saturday yet?" Lumine asked.
"I was going to text him last night, but I lost my phone!" I sniffed.
"There there, I'm sure you'll find your phone!" Lumine said patting my back reassuring me .
"Yea yea."
"But hey! It's an opportunity." Lumine grinned and I knew she was up to something.
"What opportunity." I asked.
"To ask him in person!" Lumine grinned bumping her shoulders onto mine.
"How is that an opportunity." I asked raising my eyebrows.
"An opportunity for you guys to talk in person! He might feel happy if you asked him in person." Lumine grinned.
"H-Huh?.." I said in shock.
".. You sure are an love expert, but how is asking him in person going to make him happy." I asked.
"Won't it make him feel special? Asking someone out in person instead of texting, and especially since it's your crush.. how romantic.. just like the olden days!" Lumine said in a dreaming voice.
"Asking him out?.. it's just a simply hang out, and besides you'll be there too." I replied.
"Who's to say I won't be trying to set you guys up together." Lumine said mischievously.
"You really are something.." I said slapping my head with my palm.
