Checking Kik was a pretty normal thing for me, other than Instagram and Twitter. I wasn't very popular only having 500 followers compared to 1.5 million by some other users. Mind you my Instagram and Twitter was a random account dedicated to anyone who was willing to look at it.
I talked about random things life lessons, hair tutorials, and natures greatest findings.
I created a Kik so that I could connect with other people who liked to talk about the things I put on my page, but no one truly knew my real name or what I looked like.
I didn't consider myself a coward, because I didn't want to show the real me, I saw it more as a protection so that nobody could stalk or track down the real person I am, they would just find the created image. It was a protection, a barrier, so that people who wanted to find me with bad intentions couldn't find me.
It worked for a while but maybe I did find someone I wanted to let in, they wouldn't be able to find the real me, just the computer generated image. So this to all you people out there who lie about who you are,
Be careful who you get attached to, because if you don't give them the real you, they may get angry or upset, then you have to pickup the pieces of what's left. Be cautious, because you never know who might walk into your life, or who might change it,
Forever. This is Sylvia Matthews, and this is my Kik story.
