So, going to school has been kinda, "socially awkward", so to speak. I've seen him a lot in the hallways and meeting his eye has not been and option. Apparently him and Kate have been doing good well, and I think, from the way she's telling me, they are the on the way of dating. Jace invited me to come over to his house to watch movies, and I gladly said yes. Cuddling was of course the highlight, don't forget watching watching movie marathons of High School Musical. Sometimes Jace would bust out in song, and then his voice would crack. I probably died more than once.

 One day, we all decided to meet at the cafe and head out to the park. Of course it was all Kate's idea, she thought that it would be a good idea to have some fun and get away from all of the world, me, being her best friend, couldn't agree more. I had texted Jace saying,

Me: Hey, Kate suggested hanging in the park, how bout it?

Jace: Yeah, sounds great!

Me: Awesome, we'll all meet at the cafe around 2:00, does that work for you?

Jace: Yup. I'm getting off my shift right then, so I'll meet you there.

Me: Cool, see you then

Jace: Cya

 So, at about 1:30, Kate decided to text me saying she needed a ride. I love Kate, but sometimes she was a pain. I text her saying that I would pick her up, I just needed an address and I would be there soon. Kate told me where she was an asked if James could catch a ride too. I told her fine and I would be there in 10 minutes. I hopped in my car, sped over there and found them on the sidewalk, waiting for me to arrive. I rolled down my window,

 "Hop in!" I told them.

 James walked around to the passenger's side and opened up the door for Kate to get in. She swung her little body in, and James closed the door behind her. In a few seconds, he was in the backseat all buckled up and ready to go. I turned to the side so I could look at both of them,

 "Are you guys comfortable?" I asked the both of them.

 "Yes, and thanks a bunch for picking us up." Kate said.

 "Well, this was your idea and if you couldn't get there, then how were we going to have fun?" I said questionly

 ."Good point," Kate said and winked at me. I turned to look at james,

 "You good?" I asked him.

 "Yeah, and thanks by the way."

 "Not a problem," I responded.

 I peeled away from the curb and started on our 15 minute drive back to the cafe where Jace was waiting for me. i thought I heard my phone buzz, but decided to ignore it since I was driving and not only that, I had passengers in the car. I did, however turn up the music. It broke the awkward silence that filled the car. Turning up the music did help the time pass much faster, and we made it there in no time. When we arrived, I couldn't get out of that car fast enough. Opening the glass doors, I had no time to recover, when I was embraced in a mass of brown hair, brown eyes, and baby cheeks. He hugged me so tight I thought I was going to die,

 "Hey," Jace said.

 "Hey, is everything okay?" I asked him. He let me go.

 "Yeah, why would you say that?" He questioned me.

 "'Cause, I could barely get through the door without being getting attacked by one of your hugs."

 "Oh, nothings wrong, i was just worried about you."

 "Huh, I see."

 I looked up into his eyes, and he look down into mine. I gave him a closed mouth smile, and he did the same. We stayed like this until finally Kate cut in,

 "Ahem, excuse me, but we do have a park to get to." She said. I turned to look at her,

 "Right, sorry." I broke Jace's stare and then proceeded to walk out the door with Kate and James, then I was stopped again.

 Jace wrapped his strong arms around my neck and pulled me close to him. At first I was cautious, but then began to melt into them. I closed my eyes and leaned into him. He bent down and whispered into my ear,

 "I'll race you too the swings.""You're on," I challenged.

Wohoo! I have updated ladies and gentlemen. Omg it's has been so long, and I am truly sorry, I meant to write some more on the weekends and then became really busy and completely forgot about it. But here we are, I hope you are enjoying the story so far, and I love you all!!!!
