Later that day, I went back to the coffee shop I went to over the weekend. I took out my phone and text Kate.

Me: Where r u?

Kate: I’m on my way.

Me: Thanks for going on a blind date, with me.

Kate: Yeah, no problem. I’m just surprised that you want to meet somebody. I mean, you’ve only dated a few people.

Me: Yeah, I know, but I want to give it a shot this time.

Kate: See you in a second!

Me: KK

So yeah, I know that I didn’t tell her that she was going for my sake, with a guy that I never knew, and yes I know that I could be sending her with a creep, but hey I know two guys at that place that will help me if things get out of hand. Man, I really should have thought this out a lot more.

I opened the door to the coffee shop, the bell rang, and at that time I looked around to find a dark haired boy, with green eyes sitting at the table looking at his IPhone. I looked over at the counter and found Jace washing a blender out. I hoped he wouldn’t see me, but I knew he eventually would so, I had to make this quick. My phone made a noise.

Kidjunior8: Where are you?

Crazymatthews: I am very close

Kidjunior8: I can’t wait to meet you!

Crazymatthews: Me neither

I knew It was him, because the exact moment I texted him, he looked down. Just then I got another text on kik. This time it was from an account named xJacex

xJacex: Hey, pretty one

I looked up to find Jace looking right at me, I smiled and then looked down to text him a responds

Crazymatthews: How did you find my kik?

I looked up again to find his face downcast, then brighten up all of a sudden when his phone went off. He picked it up and read it.

xJacex: You wrote it on the cup the last time you were here, and I didn’t realize you had a kik until I heard your phone make that noise, that sounds when you get a kik message, and then I finally recognized that you gave me your kik username.

Crazymatthews: Haha, nice work.

I walked up to the counter laughing, and found Jace smiling. His cheeks carrying a light blush on them. I looked up to pretend I was looking at the menu, but I already knew what I wanted. Finally I looked down to find Jace just gazing at me. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear,

“Hi,” I said, “could I have a chi latte please?”

“Of course,” he said.

He went to back to start making it and turned around, then I got a kik message.

xJacex: Your cute when you blush 

Just then I was about to type a response when Kate walked through the door. I opened up my conversation with mystery man.
