CJ looked at me, then turned around to find Jace's gaze locked on me. He then turned around and looked at me again. He gave me the look, then continued to say,

"Looks like someone caught attention of the new boy." He looked down at the table. I looked at him and said,

"It's not like I tried, it just happened." I started laughing, not knowing what to do in a situation like this. I looked at CJ again and then back at Jace, then back again. I put my finger up and pointed to the two of them.

"Wait, does someone have a crushy, crush?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

"What?!! No, come on, no offense to the homosexuals out there, but no homo bro."

"Then why are you looking like that?" I dropped my head to try to meet his gaze.

"I just want to find a guy, who can be my friend, without falling for you and you to start stealing him away from me."

"Jees, that's what you think happens all the time?" He nodded his head.

"Well I want you to know that I don't try to do those things, I just happens." I gave him a sympathetic look. He looked up and smiled, flashing those pearly whites of his.

"Apology accepted."

Just then Jace walked over with my latte and placed it on our table.

"Here you go miss Matthews," he smiled at me.

"Thank you, Jace"

"No problem." He said, but not without flashing a smile.

"Hey, Jace right? Why don't you sit down with us a minute?" CJ pipped up.
He looked between me and CJ.

"Is that okay, no name?" I looked at CJ again.

"No, not all." I replied while looking at CJ and Jace. I was really calm and relaxed on the outside, but I was big pot of chaos on the inside. I kept thinking,

what the hell where you thinking CJ?! As if he could hear my thoughts, he turned to face me again and must a have read my expression even more.

"Hey, if we are going to find out if he's boyfriend..."

"Now wait a minute tiger." I interrupted him again. He held up his hand to signal me to shut up, and proceeded to finish his sentence.

"Like I said boyfriend, or best friend material we gotta find out what he's like first."

I sat back, grabbed my latte, and looked out the window.

"Fine I said, we'll do it your way."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw him give a small nod. It took a minute for Jace to come over, but when he finally did he pulled up a chair instead of picking sides, which gave a good vibe right then and there.

"Hey." He said as he sat down. Me and CJ both replied hi.

"So what do you do in your spare time?" I questioned him. He looked back and fourth between me and CJ, then he responded,

"Well, I like to read, listen to music, and play video games." He looked at both of us again.

"Cool," I replied.

"Hey that's a plus, he plays video games, fist bump my man." He held his fist out and Jace awkwardly bumped his fist back.

This conversation continued to find out, he wants to major in photography, he has a brother but other than that has a mother and a father who are still married. He has a dog who is a husky and his name is star. He is working this job to pay for his car, and other things that he wants. He's 17, and doesn't love school nor hate it. Hey CJ's 18 and I'm turning 17 really soon. We talked so late that it went from 3:00 to 6:00 very quickly and they close at 7:00. We all stood up and exchanged goodbyes.

"Goodbye CJ," I said and gave him a hug, turning to Jace, I said,

"Goodbye Jace, it was great talking to you both, and getting to know you was wonderful."

He stuck his hand out and I shook it,
"It was a pleasure to get to know you as well Matthews."

There he goes with that smile again. I picked up my IPhone and slipped it in my back pocket and swung my coat on. I started walking to the door, and turned around to wave to the boys.

"See yah, guys later."

I walked down the street to my silver car, opened the door, buckled the seat belt, put the key in ignition, and drove off. Heading for the only destination I wanted to go at this point, home.
