I saw her walk into the door, she turned to look at me. She was wearing a white top with a heart in the middle and the prettiest flowered skirt you ever saw with black leggings underneath. She had her hair curled, perfect Kate. When she walked over she asked,

"So where's this guy you told me about?"

I looked at her, smiled, and pointed over to the black haired guy sitting at the table. She turned around and smiled at him, he waved back. I looked at her again, then said,

"Give me your phone."

"Why?" She asked.

"Well I talk to him on Kik, and I met him on Instagram. So I pretend to be you, for your safety."

She looked at me with a puzzled expression, but then I could see the gears turning in your her head. Then she responded,

"Oh okay, so are we going to switch phones?"

"Yeah, that's a good idea!"

We each took our phones out and making sure he wasn't looking, swapped our phones. Then she said,

"Where's your date?"

I just looked down at my phone that was in Kate's hand, and found a couple messages from Kik, I asked her for my phone, and opened it to respond to Jace's messages.

xJacex: Your latte is almost ready beautiful

Crazymatthews: Thanks, but what if we had coffee together?

xJacex: Sure,when?

Crazymatthews: Right now?

xJacex: Ummm.... Sure

Crazymatthews: Yay!

I turned around and smiled at Jace, and while he came around to give me my coffee, and bring his own, I left the amount I was supposed to pay by the register. I turned to face Kate again.

"Are you ready?" I asked her.

"Kinda, I don't really know this guy," she replied.

"You'll be fine, I promise."

I touched her shoulder, to help reassure her. Then, I gently pushed her, guiding her to the table where I knew he was sitting, then motioned for her to sit down, and then finally lead Jace over to a table to finally begin our coffee date. :)
