Chapter 4: The Day After

August 28th, 2020

Clem's POV-

AJ-" Good Morning Clem!" He said as he jumped on me in bed.

I was lucky that he didn't wake Y/N up. Then I realized that I had my arms wrapped around his shirtless chest.

Clem-" What day is it AJ?" I asked with a tired voice.

AJ-" It's Saturday." he said with excitement.

Clem-" What time is it?"

AJ-" It's 8 o'clock. Dad told me to wake you and your boyf-friend." he said, trying to pronounce boyfriend.

Clem-" He isn't my boyfriend!" I realized I said that a little too loud. Loud enough for Carly to walk in.

Carly-" Are you sure Clem?" she said with a smirk while looking at me being held by him. "He is cute, and he seems nice, Clem. Maybe you should consider it."

Clem-" Mom I've known him for less than a week."

Carly-" Well based on you talking about him and how comfortable you are with him. It seems like you may have thought about being more. Oh and don't worry about him leaving anytime soon, we texted his parents with his phone." she said that last sentence while leaving my room holding AJ's hand.

Clem-" YOU LOOKED THROUGH HIS PHONE?!"

Carley-" Yes, I did you might need to look out for a girl named Sydni." she said from down the hall.

Who was she talking about? And why did she feel the need to invade his privacy? I hope Sydni is just a friend or lesbian so I don't have to worry about her.

Y/N then woke up.

Clem-" Good morning Y/N." I said to him as he was waking up.

Y/N's POV-

I started to wake up more after hearing Clem say good morning. I then opened my eyes all the way as Clem had one hand playing with my hair and the other hand was around my arm. I also had my arms wrapped around her stomach.

Y/N-" Morning Clem." I said as I was still tired.

Clem-" Is this ok?"

Y/N-" No it's not." Clem looked at me with sadness in her eyes

Y/N-" But this is." I said pulling her closer to me, where we were inches apart.

I noticed her eyes go from sadness to happiness within less than a second

Clem-" I should also tell you that you don't need to leave anytime soon."

Y/N-" Why is that?"

Clem-" Because my mom texted your parents using .. your phone." she said with being nervous.

Why did Clem's mom do that? What did she see? Did she just text my parents?

Clem-" Y/N are you okay?"

Y/N-" Yeah sorry just thinking. Did your mom say anything else?

Clem-" She told me about a girl named Sydni. Did you just use me to be another one of your kind of ex's?" she said sadly.

I felt hurt by that even though it wasn't true but now I knew that's how she felt about me.

Y/N-" What? No! I hate to say this but she's basically my therapist."

Clem-" What do you mean therapist?"

Y/N-" She helped me whenever I was sad, I talked to her about how I felt that true love isn't a thing, that I'll end up an alcoholic or addict if someone breaks me again."
