Chapter 19: Wellington

Clem's POV-

We walked back to our camp with the deer. There was enough for the 16 of us.

Clem-" AJ are you gonna sleep with me tonight?"

AJ-" Yea, but you have to stop suffocating me when I wake up."

Clem-" What do you mean?"

AJ-" In the morning I get woken up by you squeezing me."

Clem-" Oh sorry goofball. It's just a habit from when Doofus lived with us."

AJ-" You squeezed Doofus in the morning?"

Clem-" He is bigger and stronger than you so it didn't feel the same way for him."

Lee-" You miss him a little more than usual today?"

Clem-" How can you tell?"

Lee-" Your eyes are red and I can hear it in your voice."

Clem-" I didn't know it was that obvious.."

Lee-" It's okay we'll eventually find him." He said hugging me.

Clem-" We are on the right path. I found another heart pointing east."

Lee-" He will eventually stop and settle so we can catch up to him."

Clem-" You're right."

Lee-" I love you sweet pea."

Clem-" I love you too dad."

{Timeskip a month later}

It's been a month since we were at the national park in Missouri we made our way following Y/N's trail of hearts and arrows. I was on good terms with my mom again after Beth and Lee kept annoying me about it. We lost Isabelle when she didn't eat or drink enough and died pushing herself, she then woke up as a biter and killed her mom in the morning. We made our way to Kentucky and we were walking through the woods just like he said on the third one we found.

Beth-" We haven't seen any signs of Y/N since the last one."

John-" He might have died Clem."

Beth-" Don't say that!"

Clem-" I know he's still alive, it's a feeling."

Jake-" How do you get that feeling?"

Clem-" When you find someone you love you get that feeling no wonder you're asking."

Jeff-" Damn."

AJ-" Y/N I ever get that feeling with someone?" He said looking up at me.

Clem-" I'm sure you will goofball."

AJ-" What if it's not a girl?"

Clem-" Uh." I looked at everyone and they avoided eye contact with me. "Why do you ask that?"

AJ-" Because you and Y/N are boyfriend and girlfriend, John and Beth are boyfriend and girlfriend, mom and dad are boyfriend and girlfriend. What if I don't wanna have a girlfriend?"

Clem-" Well that's fine, I like girls and guys AJ, it doesn't mean I'm weird or not normal."

All of the teenagers looked at me.

Beth-" Since when were you bi?"

Clem-" Since forever."

I just realized I haven't told them about my sexuality.

Clem-" You guys didn't even get a hint of me being bi?"

Jacob-" You are in love with Y/N so we never thought about you not being bi."
