Chapter 7: Get Out Of My Head

November 2nd, 2020

It was my first day back since homecoming, I was living with Clem's family I didn't know for how long. They were cool with it so I wasn't worried.

Clem-" Are you ready?" She said reaching for my hand.

Y/N-" Yeah." I said grabbing her hand.

Clem-" Alright let's go."

We started walking into the school we walked into the commons as I felt everyone's eyes on me.

Y/N-" Clem I don't kn-"

Clem-" You'll be fine just listen to music to drown everyone out."

Y/N-" Ok." I said reaching for my AirPods.

I was now in 1st period

I sat down and saw her sitting on my right. She had a burn mark on the left side of her face that looked fairly new. I rolled my eyes in annoyance while I listened to music. Then I remembered I killed her. I turned my music up to drown everything out. Luckily the lesson was just individual work. I rubbed my eyes and then she was gone.

It was like this for every class minus the Olivia part. And the fourth period just drove around with Clem. 

{Timeskip to 3 pm}

It was the end of the day. Clem and I were holding hands as we were walking into the commons where my old friends were. It was John, Beth, Ethan, Sydni, Jake, and Matt.

Clem-" Do you wanna talk to them?"

Y/N-" No not really."

But that didn't matter.

Jake-" Hey bro, we're really sorry we should have trusted you from the start."

Y/N-" I understand, see you guys tomorrow." I said, looking back at them while holding Clem's hand.

Clem-" That was good. They apologized and you made it clear you weren't mad at them."

We were now outside.

I saw her again. She was sitting on the hood of my car with her face more burned. Get. Out. Of. My. Head.

Olivia-" No, you killed me I will stay with you forever."

Y/N-" How are you talking to me?"

Olivia-" You killed me that's how."

Y/N-" Stop tormenting me."

Olivia-" You were doing it in the first place."

Y/N-" How was I tormenting you mentally?!?"

Olivia-" You never stopped talking to me or my friends."

Y/N-" I thought it wasn't bad with Bella or Sophia.

Olivia-" Well they aren't the ones dead aren't they."

Y/N-" Why did you three even do that?"

Olivia-" We wanted to protect her from you."

Y/N-" Well good for you. You didn't do anything to protect her. I DID."

Olivia-" By killing me? YOU ARE THE THING YOU SHOULD'VE KILLED. NOT ME."

Y/N-" I killed you because you would've kept getting in our way." With that I rubbed my eyes.
