Y/N'S POV
This morning I followed mom to the Baker's house because I asked for a ride, but I was hoping to see Marcus.
"Why can't you be cool like Georgia?" Max complained.
"I am pretty cool. Morning, neighbors!"
"Come in! Join us!"
Clint said something in sign language.
"He says save yourselves." Ellen interpreted for us.
"I'm just here to get Ginny and Y/N'S tickets." Mom says.
"See, mom? Ginny and Y/N are going." Max groans.
"Would you like some breakfast?" Ellen offered.
"Wow, you're such a good mom! Isn't she a good mom, Max?" She said whilst walking towards Ellen.
As for me I just stood there like a dummy.
"Max, I think if you wanna prove that you deserve to go to 'Sophomore Sleepover', there are other ways to go about it than yelling at Ellen."
"Yeah, stop yelling at Ellen." Ellen chimed in.
Max got up, put her dish in the sink, and washed everyone else's as well.
"That is some serious Jedi mind shit." Marcus got up from the table.
"Marcus go to school and learn something."
"You know I won't." He says while grabbing my arm and dragging me with him.
"See you later mom!" I yell.
I snatched my arm from Marcus as we walked out the door.
"You didn't have to grab my arm, asshole."
"You loved it." He laughed.
"Fuck you." I mumbled.
"Maybe you'll get lucky, gorgeous." He teased.
"No, you'd be the lucky one, Marcus."
"You're actually going to 'sophomore sleepover'?" Marcus asked
"Mom and Ginny are making me go. I'd rather stay longer at band practice, but I can't let my sister and my mom down." I explain.
"Band?"
"I'm in a band with the O'connor triplets."
"Never seen you as a girl that would be in a band."
"You don't completely know me." I rolled my eyes.
"Hangout with me after school."
"I'll think about it."
"Wasn't a question, Y/N. We're hanging out after school."
I groaned at him.
This cute asshole.
