"Y/N!" A voice, that I recognized as Ginny's, yelled.
"Huh? What?" I jumped up out of my slumber.
"The mayor was just in our bathroom!"
"I was sleeping really good and you woke me up for this?" I question tiredly.
"But-"
"Can you rant while I get ready?" I cut her off while hopping out of bed and grabbing my things and going to the bathroom.
"Fine, but he's in our kitchen making us breakfast now." She trailed behind me to the bathroom.
I missed this. Us being so comfortable with each other we can be in the bathroom at the same time.
"Oh thank God because I'm hungry!"
"You just woke up."
"A bitch can still be hungry, damn." I said while brushing my teeth.
Ginny continued to rant as I got ready. She even stayed in the bathroom while I took a shower.
"Ginny, can you please step out while I get dressed?" I ask her as I step out the shower, wrapping my towel around my body.
"Fine." She huffed while leaving and closing the door behind her.
I quickly got dressed and did my hair then went downstairs to the kitchen and sat next to Ginny.
"You two excited for your big sweet 16 surprise today?" Mom asked Ginny and I.
I just nodded because I'd rather be spending today with just my friends. I texted the girls last night and told them what my mom said. They said they're gonna come, but I honestly wish it could just be us.
"I had such a fun first surprise already when the mayor was naked in my bathroom."
That's.... unpleasant.
"French toast?" Paul came behind us with a plate of french toast.
"Ooo, I'll have some." I said while he put a few pieces on my plate.
"Awesome!" Austin exclaimed.
Paul put pieces on everyone's plates then sat down in the chair across from Ginny.
Ginny had that stupid smile on her face. The one when I knew she was about to do some dumb shit.
"Remember when Mom dated Omid," She started, "and he'd throw grapes in the air and catch them in his mouth?"
Austin then attempted to throw a grape in his mouth. I don't know why she's doing this.
"Remember Louis the fry cook? How he'd always make us biscuits?" She continued to list out Mom's boyfriends.
"Sorry." Mom whispered to Paul.
I sat there eating not saying a word or even joining in her pettiness. After a while it got on my nerves.
"Hey, Gin, I think that's enough." I said to her.
"So I hear your mom has quite the big day planned. Are you two excited?" Paul says.
"Not really." We both say at the same time.
Then someone rings the door bell and Mom goes to get it.
"What's happening?" Ginny asks Paul, but he just shrugged and did that stupid white person smirk.
"Surprise!!" Ginny's friends scream.
Ginny sat there dumbfounded and I just sipped on my orange juice.
