Y/N'S POV

Halloween. The one night each year Mom, Ginny, and I can actually sit down together and not argue, mainly Mom and Ginny. Instead this year, We have friends, We both have boyfriends, and Mom's a Wellsbury mom now.

I woke up this morning and did my usual routine then went downstairs.

"Morning Mom, Austin. Virginia."

"Good Morning, N/N!"

"Oouu, breakfast." I sat down at the table next to Austin, grabbed my fork, and began to eat.

"Nervous about your big date tonight?" Ginny asked mom.

"What? No." Mom denies.

"You're going on a date with your boss, so." I say while going for a sip of orange juice.

"Convincing."

"Projecting? You're the one who's nervous to meet your boyfriend's parents tonight."

"I'm not nervous."

They kept talking, but I didn't pay much attention, I just ate my breakfast and minded my own business. The conversation wasn't even interesting.

"Maxine sent me a link."

When she clicked the link I instantly heard what it was. It's the "romantic" video of Hunter singing to her.

"Oh, wowie, wow, wow!" Mom exclaimed.

God, I hate that stupid song.

"So, you're Internet famous now? I'm living with Logan Paul."

"Not even, Mom. Shits embarrassing." I grumbled, and yes I'm still pissed that Hunter won, his song was ass.

"Eww! Logan Paul?" Ginny scoffed.

"He's the only one I know." Mom admits.

I looked over at Ginny's phone and I saw that Marcus texted her, "Are you avoiding me?", but she didn't see me look. She shut her phone off instantly after he texted her.

Hmmm, strange. Why would he be texting her? Looks like I'm avoiding him today, as well.

My mood was already completely blown, but then, like the absolute complete angel she is, Artemis texted me that her mom agreed to pick me up and is already outside. I turned my phone off, shoved into my pocket, and got up from the table.

"See y'all later, my ride's here!" I yell whilst grabbing my backpack and rushing out of the door.

I hopped into the backseat of the O'connor's minivan, even though Mrs. O'connor doesn't look like the type of mom to own a minivan; they have one. Ares was in the passenger seat, Apollo was in the seat behind me, and Artemis was in the seat next to me.

"Morning." I say while sitting my backpack down and then putting on my seat belt, safety first.

"Good Morning, N/N!" They all say at the same time.
