Y/N'S POV
Today, Ginny, Austin, and I had to put on our best face, especially after the whole letter situation. Ginny and I still haven't told Mom about it and I don't know when we plan on it.
Mom is now engaged to the mayor, Paul Randolph, and with him running for reelection this is a huge story for the locals. The local tabloid would be interviewing Mom and Paul about their engagement and we had to be there as well, to take photos and be in the interview. While Mom was downstairs fixing up the living room Ginny and I were getting ready.
"Gin, you really should've let me do your makeup." I said while sitting at my vanity doing my hair. My make up was just a natural beat, nothing too fancy.
"It's fine, y/n. Lipstick and mascara is good enough for me." She sighed.
"Are you okay? Is something bothering you, Gin?" I asked her while looking at her through my mirror. She was sitting down on my bed and she looked like something was bothering her.
"I don't want you to get mad at me, but it's bothering me. Promise you won't get mad?"
I nodded and continued doing my hair.
"y/n, I had sex with Marcus again." She blurted.
It was a bit shocking to me, but I'm done with Marcus. I have been for a while. We're not right for each other and I've accepted that.
"Girl, it's fine. I been off him." I giggled while adding the finishing touches to my hair.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah. He wasn't good for me and I'm not gonna be delusional over him. I'm better than that." I admit.
"So, you're not mad?"
"Ginny, you have nothing to worry about. Marcus and I are history. Just be careful with him, okay?" I turned towards her.
"This is so awkward. You're like giving me over to your ex." Ginny laughed.
"Let's not make it anymore awkward, please?" I laughed with her. "I just wanna be on good terms with you. You're my sister we shouldn't fight like this. I mean what you guys did wasn't okay. I just decided to move past it."
"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you that before you dated him and that I sent the picture." Ginny apologized.
"It's fine. Let's just not talk about it anymore." I got up and went to my closet to grab the outfit I'm going to wear. "Can you leave while I change?"
