Chapter 27

William (father) p.o.v

I was with Hanyu in a nearby cafe and I knew what he wants to talk to me. To be honest, it's good he asks my permission and knowing how much I care for my daughter. "Hanyu," I stated and he looked at me and I could tell he's a bit nervous and isn't confident and being over cocky, that's one strike if someone wants to be with my daughter. "I wanted to talk to you about a serious conversation," he said and I nodded and he knew it meant he could keep going what he wants to say. "I want your permission to be official with your daughter," he said. The tea came and grabbed my cup of tea, drank a bit and I asked him, "How could I know I could trust you?" I asked seriously and he replied being calm but nervous at the same time, "The reason is I care about your daughter, truly. Even when I knew she could be stubborn at times where she's supposed to take care of herself and also, I don't want her to get hurt," when he said it, it made me think how she wants to be proud of herself and show she could it. "One more thing," I said and I could tell he looked confused. I gave him a small gift bag and I told him, "As you can see, it's a gift bag. Inside, this was passed down in generations to my family and I'm passing it to you because I trust you and you have my permission to be my daughter's boyfriend. Maybe in the future, you could be my son-in-law," I said and he looked embarrassed and I laughed. "Well, I need to go now since I have a job to go to. Take care." I said and he smiled and we said our goodbyes and went in our different directions.

 Eleanor p.o.v

I was worried that (y/n) will stay in a coma but, luckily she woke up, even though it's a month. I was making some of (y/n) favorite food and head to the hospital, She'll be discharged in two days since everything seemed to be normal what the doctor said. 

"Hello (y/n), how are you doing?" I asked while giving her food. "I'm doing better, thanks for asking," she said smiling and I knew something was on her mind. "Hey, I know something is bothering you. Tell me, what's wrong?" She took a deep breath and said, "I'm scared for yuzu because he went to talk to my father." When she said it, I understood what she meant. "He went to ask your hand or marriage?" I jokingly asked and she hit me lightly on my arm. "Ow, sorry, sorry. But, I know your father will accept him, I just know it." I stated and smiled. We heard a soft knock and she said "Come in." It was yuzu and based on his face of happiness, I looked at (y/n) and told her, "See, your father knows he could be a good future son-in-law," when I said it, they both looked embarrassed. "Well, I'll leave you to it. Call or text me or you need anything," I said to my cousin, and she nodded. I hope time goes by slowly and not fast.

2 years later...

(Y/n) p.o.v

It was January and I was helping Eleanor since she was getting married to Shoma. "I'm surprised you're getting married first since you look really young, not judging you or anything," I said while she was laughing. "I know, but, we're going to invite close people we know and not a big one because the virus is spreading around." I nodded and we hand out the invitations and got a phone call from father, "Father, how are you doing?" I asked making sure I wasn't rude. "I'm doing fine. I wanted to let you know and tell Eleanor that her dress is ready," he said. I'm surprised how mother insisted on doing her dress. "Okay, we'll come by and see if it fits her, take care." After I hung up the call, I went to Eleanor and said, "my mother finished your dress, we could go after we finish practice," I said and she nodded in agreement. 

"You look beautiful, I'm surprised you got a lucky guy," I said and she laughed. "Oh don't worry, I'm wondering when you will get married?" She asked which caused me to choke on the water I was drinking. "Okay um let's change the subject, can we?" I asked while looking at my phone. "What's the matter?" mother asked and I told her, "nothing, just waiting for a call," I said and I'm worried because Yuzu said he will call me, but it's been a week he hasn't called me. "Cheer up, he probably has something going on," I nodded and decided to call our close girlfriends to plan the bachelorette party since I was the maid of honor.

"Here we are," said Maia while leading Eleanor since she has a blindfold on. I took her blindfold off and it was for VIP exclusive. I had to do it at the last minute. "This is cool! I really wanted to see how I felt like a VIP," she said being excited. "Okay, also, it's only one bottle of champagne since I don't want you, girls, to go through the limit. Also, because we have practice tomorrow around 12 in the afternoon." I said and we made a compromise. In the end, the party was great. Time to head back of no stress-free.

"Coach, I feel I need to practice more on the quad loop part," He nodded. I've been practicing for hours until he decided to call it a day. I saw yuzu at the entrance and smiled at me and said, "I'm surprised you didn't notice me during practice," I laughed and said, "Sorry, I had to concentrate on my quad loop jump and probably a quad toe loop," he nodded and notice I want to go to the 2022 Beijing Olympics. "Let me help you carry your things," he said and took it without me responding. I laughed and looked at my phone and just 3 more weeks until the big day.
