It has almost been a year since Loki's fall. And the two siblings were arguing again.

"You have to rule!" Hela was almost shouting. Their mother would soon have to give up the throne, after all, she had ruled for a long time and needed a rest.

"I can't. I'm a good soldier but not a king. You and I both know it. Asgard would be better off with you on the throne." Thor argued.

"It wouldn't. I didn't even get to take the classes needed for ruling, all I know is how to fight. The nine realms don't need that in their ruler." She responded.

"I did attend those classes, yet you know more about them than I do. Loki was supposed to rule. He always was." Thor sat down and put his head in his hands. Hela sat next to him and gently stroke his back.

"I know... But he's not here now, and mother grows weaker every day. One of us will have to eventually replace her in the post." She said quietly.

"No. First, we'll find Loki." Thor stood up and started walking around the golden room.

Hela opened her mouth to say something, but then she closed it. It wasn't as though anything she'd say would make Thor feel better. Or convince him to accept his place at the throne.

"There must be something we missed. We established that the portal was created by someone. It surely wasn't Loki, because he'd have control over where he'd go. Also, making portals while falling is near to impossible, right?" Thor muttered to himself.

"Thor, you need to stop. There's nothing you can do, we've been over-" Hela started, but Thor didn't let her finish. He roared, grabbed the table that Hela was sitting at and flipped it over.

Hela didn't know what to do, again. Thor was having a fit, and she didn't know how to make him stop.

As she started thinking of the gentlest way of knocking him out, Heimdall came through the door.

And that was exactly what made Thor stop, within seconds.

Heimdall never went to the palace. He was always nearby the Bifrost, no matter the time, weather or occasion, guarding it.

"I can see Loki."

With these words, Thor's mind cleared completely.

"Where is he? Is he okay?" He asked with a sure voice.

"He's in Midgard. He's... I'm not entirely sure what he's gotten himself into. You'll have to see for yourselves. But I warn you - he's not acting as himself." Heimdall said.

Thor and Hela looked and nodded at each other. They knew what to do. Hela went to inform the Queen, Thor went to tell the news to the Warriors Three and Lady Sif.

"My friends, Heimdall finally saw Loki. He's in Midgard. Me and sister are going after him. Take care of Asgard while I'm gone." He told them.

The four warriors stood frozen, they suspected Loki to be dead or to never come home again. The first one to move was Lady Sif.

"Bring him home, Thor." She hugged him.

"Farewell, Thor. And take care." Fandral wished him well.

Hogun just silently nodded and Volstagg took a large sip of mead.

Thor waved them goodbye and left the building. There, he reached out his hand and moments later, he caught Mjolnir.

With it, his red and silver armor appeared. He spun the hammer and started flying through the city towards The rainbow bridge.

There, he met his sister and Heimdall, who already had his sword ready.

Hela nodded at him, and he opened the Bifrost. The two siblings got sucked into the light and after a few moments, they were standing in Midgard, in a park of some sort.
