Loki was being escorted by twelve heavily armed agents of a Midgardian organisation named SHIELD. As was explained to Thor and Hela, it was specialised in unnatural events.

It was funny, considering what Midgardians recognised as unnatural.

They were on a big ship, helicarrier, as they called it. It was very interesting - just about 500 years ago, they lived in shacks and most of them couldn't even read.

Now, look at them. Hela was honestly surprised at how fast they evolved.

"Are the shackles that they gave Loki really necessary?" Thor leaned towards Hela, speaking quietly.

"I'm afraid that yes. If we want to avoid violence on our people, then we have to resolve this by their rules, however ridiculous they are." She replied.

In the meantime, Loki was led to a cage-like prison. The walls were made of glass, he was like a snake in a terrarium.

Thor and Hela were waiting in a nearby corridor, quietly communicating, when a man with an eyepatch and a long black coat came to them.

"Nicholas Fury, Director of SHIELD." He introduced himself.

"I am Hela, Odin's firstborn and a princess of Asgard. This is my brother, Thor." Hela said for both of them.

She assumed that when she said that, the Midgardian man would apologise, bow to their rulers and let her brother go. But that didn't happen, not in the slightest.

"Well alright then, your highnesses. I was told you wanted to negotiate with me." He said, leading them through the ship.

"Negotiate is a strong word. We could break our brother out anytime we'd want to. We just want to avoid violence on our people." Thor repeated Hela's words.

Nicholas Fury stopped walking for a moment and frowned.

"Well alright then. If you'd be so kind and help us free our people from his control and find the Tesseract before you take your brother home, we would be grateful." He changed his strategy.

Fury knew what he was doing. This way, everyone would come off somewhat satisfied. He'd have his agents and the Tesseract back and he wouldn't have to deal with a murderer.

"We will, it's our duty to help our people, after all. But we'll be taking the Tesseract. It's obviously not safe in Midgard anymore, it'll be better if it were safely locked in Asgard's vaults." Hela said.

"We'll talk about that later, what do you say? Right now, we have a more pressing issue." The man with an eyepatch said.

He led them through a glass door to some sort of a lab. On a table in the back was a golden spear-like object with a glowing blue gem on the tip.

Hela came closer, studying the weapon. It was really it.

"I recognise this weapon. You should too, brother." She said, still studying it.

"Where did you get this?" Hela turned back to the director.

"Loki came with that through the portal from the Tesseract." He answered.

"Was he touching it?" She quickly asked him.

"What do you mean, was he touching it. Of course he was, he held it with his hands when he got my agents under his control!" Fury said harshly.

"It's not that simple. This is a very dangerous weapon. It has many names, some of which I couldn't hope to pronounce, for it is very ancient. But most know it as The Scepter of minds, or simply The Scepter." She stasted explaining.
