What the hell was I thinking? Oh that's right I wasn't thinking. I almost ruined Everything! For what to feel her soft lips on mine, to feel her skin pressed against mine. As much as I want it, it's not worth losing her over. I mean what if it didn't work out? It was just too much of a risk. One I just couldn't take as much as I wanted to. But damn she looked so damn sexy in what she calls pajamas. I almost had to bite on my knuckles just to feel something besides my dick getting hard.

I hear her soft breathing and know she is finally asleep. I try and try but sleep evades me. I think back to when we first met. Ry just moved here and she was so quiet and shy and I wanted to be near her back then as well.

"Blake!" I turn to look at my sister she is bouncing on the balls of her feet.

"What is it Sam?" I try to finish my lego set I just got for my seventh birthday.

"There someone moving in across the street."

"That's nice Sammie." I try to ignore her and concentrate on what I am doing.

"BLAKIE!"

I stop playing my legos because I know she will not quit bugging me. "So what Sam? People move in and out of places all the time."

"There's a girl over there. Maybe we could be friends. Can we go over there?"

" I don't think mom will let us."

"MOM!!!"

"Geeze Samantha my ears."

Mom comes walking in and looks between the two of us. I hope she doesn't think I did something wrong.

"What is it sweetie?"

"Can we meet the people moving in?"

"Oh we have new neighbors."

I roll my eyes because all I want to do is play with my legos.

"We might as well go say hi."

I sigh and throw my pieces that I was building to the ground.

"Blake Mackenzie."

"Yes mom"

"I know you did not just throw your legos."

"I'm sorry mom I just really want to play."

"Well we will only be over there for a few minutes. Then you can come back and play.

Mom grabs our hands and Sam is jumping up and down. As we make our way to our new neighbors. Sam won't shut up about how they will be best friends blah blah blah blah blah. As soon as we get to them I catch sight of fire red hair with a touch of golden streaks. But what I couldn't tear my eyes away from was her eyes, green as emeralds.

"What are you staring at?"

I blinked twice as her mom scolds her. "Riley Ann that was rude apologize." The girl looked scared all of the sudden and I felt bad for her. Why would she be scared?

"No I'm sorry, it's not polite to stare."

Riley smiles at me and I can't help to smile back. I was going to say something but Sam cut me off. " I'm Sam and we are going to be best friends." Riley laughed and it was like music filling the air. "What happened to your arm?" Sam asked, and I saw a huge red mark it almost looked like a burn.

"Oh that's a birth mark." Her mom said quickly. " I'm sorry we should get back to unpacking. It was nice to meet you all."

She hurried Riley into the house which I thought was strange but Riley turned back and waved at us and I forgot all about how her mom was acting. Because Riley's smile was a breath of fresh air.
