It's been a month since Riley first having nightmares about Angela coming after her. Even though she hasn't threatened us any way, she has made her presence known. We ever filed a restraining order against her so that my wife could feel safe. I would do anything to keep her safe.

Today is going to be a busy day with my appointment then for us to see how our babies are doing. I personally can't wait for them to be here. I watch Ry as she gets ready and fuck I feel myself grow hard. She is wearing a strapless black top with a skirt. God she knows how hard it is for me to resist her in a skirt

"You ready to go to your appointment babe?" She turns around and looks at me with a smile. Damn pregnancy makes her glow.

"You look radiant love." I hobble up to her and snake my arms around her and kiss her bare shoulder.  I can't wait to get this damn cast off my leg. "Don't start Blake, we can't be late." I kiss her shoulder once again as she turns around and wraps her arms around me. "Oh I'm going to start wildfire the moment the Dr. tells you I'm okay. We are finally going consumate our marriage." I kiss her lips hard so she knows all the pent up energy I have for will be released soon.

She has been so worried about me that she wouldn't do anything until I got cleared. I've got a bad case of blue balls that she can cure once we get this shit over with. I see the desire in her eyes as she licks her lips and softly speaks to me. "I didn't want to hurt you Blake, you've been through enough." I brush the back of my hand along her cheek as she closes her eyes.

"I'm fine love I promise."

I'd be even better if I can get back to work the way I should. I miss my job and being able to help any way I can. I feel like I'm letting the boys down.

We head out and once we get to the doctor's office I'm getting anxious. I just hope everything is okay. I don't want to worry Ry that I have been worrying about the results. Dr. Michaels walks in and greets us with a smile.

"Good to see you both. How are you both feeling?"

"Better if you tell my wife that I'm good for long strenuous activities." I wink at heras Riley gasps at me and smacks my arm.

"Blake Makenzie." Her cheeks turn as red as her hair and I can't help but chuckle.

Dr. Michaels suppresses a laugh as he proceeds to take off my cast. After that I have to get an x-ray to check see how my leg looks. Once I'm seated back it the room Dr. Michaels addresses both of us.

"Everything looks good. You will need to start physical therapy soon to get the strength back in your leg.  Because of the extent of damage there was just be cautious. We don't want you to have to come back for a second surgery."

I smile at my wife, "I told you Ry everything was alright." She sticks her tongue out at me. I'll put that tongue to good use soon enough.

"Blake just because you are healing now does not mean you are hundred percent better."

Riley gives me that look all men know too well. I told you so look and I swear I may never hear the end of this.

"I want you to use the cane or crutches if needed, but don't rely on them." I nod my head and know Riley is remembering everything the doc is saying so I do as I'm told. "One last thing, no active duty at work for at least another four weeks."

"What?!" I snap my head to him and he gives me a sympathetic look.

"Babe it's going to be alright." Riley puts her hand over mine, but right now I am frustrated. I shrug her hand off and don't see the hurt look on her face when I do so.

"No it's not Ry. I need to work it's what I do, what I'm good at."

Doctor Michaels excuses himself and I see my wife trying to control her emotions. But unfortunately for me I can't and later on I will regret it immensely.

"You can work at the desk until you are completely healed."

"That's not my job!" I yell and I haven't been this mad since that douchebag Bobby Jacobson spread rumors about Ry in junior high. Or our last fight before I left.

I look at my wife and she gives me a flat look and slowly says, "Do not yell at me."

I run my hands through my hair because I feel useless right now.

"Fuck! I'm still going to work Ry."

She slowly takes a step towards me and I instinctively take one back. The fire in her eyes can burn my soul and this time not in a good way.

"The Hell you Are!  If the doctor says you can't then you can't. That's it Blake there is no way around it."

"Damn it Ry I have to!"

"Really it's that damn important." She pokes me in the chest. I'm sure she wants to do more than that. "That you are willing to risk your life and your health."

"Yes!"

Why can't I just shit the hell up?

Riley starts digging in her purse and I wonder what the hell she is doing.

"Stick out your hand Blake."

"What? Why?"

"Just fucking do it!"

I reluctantly put my hand out and she puts the keys into them. I give her a confused look as to what is going on.

"Here you go take the keys and do what you got to do. I'll call Sam to pick me up."

"Ry."

She puts a hand up to stop me.

"You promised me Blake that you would be safe! You are trying to throw yourself back into work when you are not completely healed!" She yells at me as I see the tears fall down her face.

I'm the biggest douchebag there is.

I try to reach out for her but she moves away.

"Don't touch me."

That hurts worse than anything right now. But I fucking deserve it. She walks out of the room without saying another word.

"Riley Ann"

I try to catch up to her but it's like she disappeared. I try calling her on her phone but it goes to voicemail.

"Damn it!"

I run my hands through my hair in frustration. I'm so pissed off at myself. The one thing I promised to do was never hurt her again.

Yet I fucked up once again. I don't know how I'm going to make this right.
