I held Bella on my lap pulled close to my chest her leg legs dropped over Stefan's lap who held her hand tightly. "She'll be fine. She's always fine." I tell him. He looked at me worried. He cared for Bella, She was a big sister to him... a good sibling he deserved. I couldn't let him lose her, and I couldn't lose her. Not again.

I stroked her hair softly. She was out and I didn't know how to wake her. "Elena are you okay?" Care asked from the back seat leading forward to rest a hand on her friends shoulder. "She... she screamed. And then." She said she was in shock. You'd think she'd be use to all the mythic shit that happened but apparently not. "What?" "Arabella, she screamed and then... Mikeal went down. She got the white oak stake and stabbed him in the heart." She said quietly but we could all hear due to the lock of noise in the car. "He blew away in ash... he burnt and the place went up... Bella pulled a women out... the witch that" She took a pause. "That knocked you out Damon." I nodded. "And then she grabbed me and we was out side... but she went back... and when she came out she looked... sick. She screamed and everything come out of her."

"We need to get her home now!" I say. I saw her do this when she was young. We were in the woods.

flashback.

"You can't get me." Arabella teased as she climbed the tree in her long dress not concerned if it got dirty or not. "17 and still climbing trees." I laughed out. "You would if you could." "I can." I say and she laughed going high. "Be careful." "Or what I might fall." She joked standing up and walking across the branch I walked under her ready to catch. I knew this game well.

We were looking for Stefan... playing hide and seek in the house got boring so we took it to the woods. "Steffy." She called out. "Come out come out where ever you are." She sung. "I can't see him." She said crouching down and holding onto the branch before letting her body dangle, when she felt my arms around her waist she let go and I put her on her feet. "You sure you're a lady." I questioned. "Yes, I am." She said shoving me in the chest and I wrapped ym arms around her giggling. "You're 18 next month." I remind her. "I am." "Ready for the ball my dear." I joked she rolled her eyes. "I hate parties and you know it Master Salvatore." She said taking my hand as we walked looking for my kid brother.

We couldn't find him when the sun set and it grew dark. "Our parents are going to be so mad with us." She says looking around. "They away for the weekend, it'll be okay." I say pulling her closer to me. "It's a full moon." She said looking up. "Romantic." "Dangerous." She said seriously. I rolled my eyes. "Damon you know this means the wolves will be out." She says. "We'll find him. Besides I'll protect you." I say taking my jacket off and placing it over her shoulders in attempt to keep her some what warm int he spring air. "Steffy, this isn't funny now!" She called out. "We must go inside." She tried.

"Damon!" I hear my brother cry out, his voice shaking he was scared! My eyes dart around. I found him circled by wolves. "Don't move." I tell him. "Go to the house." "No I simply can not leave you out her only Damon." "Arabella." She gave me a look there was no point arguing with her. "I told you it's dangerous." She resorted. "Not the time my love." I say back. "Steffy it's okay." She said softly to the young boy.

A wolf jumped at my brother. "No!" I shouted they all turned to look at us. They ran at us leaving Stefan alone. And then suddenly before they could jump us Arabella screamed halting them, winds picked up and the wolves froze looking at us before they ran away. I ran to Stefan and held him. "It's okay now brother, you're safe." I tell him as I knelt in the mud.

"Damon... Arabella doesn't look good." He said his big blue eyes wide looking at my girlfriend. She stumbled over to us "Connie?"she whispered before she fell to the floor. I scooped her up and we ran through the woods. "Mrs Carrington! Mrs Carrington!" I cried out as we reached her house. Her parents weren't home, but her chamber maid was. "Scarlet. Please help her." I say laying her on the bench in the laundry room. Scarlet looked over her worried. "What has she been doing?" She asked us seriously as she looked over the paling girl. "We were in the woods and the wolves and she screamed and saved me and she fell." Stefan stumbled out. I rested my hand on his shoulder to try and help comfort him. "She fell?" "She passed out." I corrected. "She screamed?" I nodded. "Yes Ma'am." "Was their wind?" "Yes Ma'am." I answered quickly. "Go to my room and bring me my box... you know the one." She tells me and I rushed off to retrieve the thing she asked for. Mud followed me around the house from my dirty trainers. I felt awful for the maids who had to clean but it was important I helped Arabella first.
