Chapter 18

Y/n dark chuckle echoed through the throne room as he once again rewound the footage of Blake blowing up the entire ship yard while trying to fight Roman. To be fair it was not just her. She had a monkey Faunus boy with her at first and later Ruby and a girl with very interesting abilities joined in too. It was hilarious. The desperation in Blakes actions, the look on her face once she realized that the Faunus that helped out Roman did so because they wanted to not because they were forced to.

It only got better once Roman got the message from Y/n, allowing him to blow up the dust. It was not like he actually needed it seeing that he still had thousands of tons from Romans work for Cinder. Y/n just bought some so he does not seem suspicious using so much Dust, but never actually buying some.

The video on his scroll got interrupted by an incoming call. It was Ozpin.

Y/n: "Hello Headmaster, what can I do for you?" Y/n asked, keeping his voice steady.

Ozpin: "I wish for you to join my meeting with miss Belladona."

Y/n: "Oh? What happened, is she ok?" Y/n acted worried.

Ozpin: "Everything will be explained once you joined us. I will be waiting in my office."

Y/n: "Ok, will be there in a moment." Y/n said and ended the call. "Albedo, have the Shadows finished their mission yet?" Y/n asked.

Albedo: "Yes Deamonius-sama. The explosives are prepared and the Shadows have hiden in the Ballroom with them as per your request."

Y/n: "Good how has Summer been?"

Albedo: "She is getting used to life around Nazarick. Aura and Mare are helping her learn her new powers as we speak."

Y/n: "Perfect, I want her ready for her first mission in a month." Albedo nodded and bowed her head as Y/n got up from his throne and opened a Gate to the Headmasters office. "I apologize for making you wait, something seemed to have happened with my latest order of Dust and I had to fill out some paperwork because of that." Y/n internally smirked upon noticing Blake going stiff for a moment.

Ozpin: "Well what a coincidence. Miss Belladonna here was at the shipyard when your Dust was blown up. Would you like to repeat what you told me, miss Belladonna?"

Blake: "I-I was just taking a relaxing walk through Vale when I heard a commotion coming from the shipyard. My friend ran there and I followed. We came upon the White Fang, led by Roman, trying to steal the Dust. Things went sideways and the Dust blew up from Roman shooting at it."

Y/n: "Interesting." Y/n pulled out his scroll and played the video of what had happened at the shipyard. "From what I was able to gather it seems to me like you were actually waiting at the shipyard for something to happen. I would prefer it if you would not lie to me." Y/n said with a sigh. "Listen Blake, my Dust I can replace. What I can not replace however is your life, nor that of your friend." A lie. "What you did was brave, but reckless, you jumped into a fight headfirst, with no plan and no back-up."

Blake: "I could not just do nothing!" The girl objected.

Y/n: "Yes you could have and you SHOULD have." Y/n said angrily making the girl sink deeper into her seat. "You are not a Huntress yet, you have the same rights and authority as any other civilian as long as you are not on an official mission. What you should have done, is use your scroll, film what was happening and let it happen. After they leave with my Dust you go to the police and hand in the evidence you gathered. That is what you should have done. It would have risked fewer lifes and would have brought a new piece of evidence to the table."

Ozpin: "Mister Deamon is correct miss Belladonna. Why are you even still wearing that ribbon?"

Y/n: "I already knew you were a Faunus, no need hiding it."
