The Overlord had to admit, Atlas knew when to act friendly. Even after his arrest he wasnt put in any kind of cell. He wasnt forced to wear cuffs, nor did he have to spent most of his day waiting for things to happen. Instead he was quickly settled into a mansion in the upper levels of Atlas.

There he was put into the capable hands of many servants, who were ordered to treat him like he was the owner of the house. Three meals a day, cooked by some of the best chefs money can buy. A library filled to the brim with books, of course most being centred around how great of a kingdom Atlas has become.

One could almost forget that Y/n was a political prisoner. But just a single look outside the building can quickly change that thought. A 5 meter tall, barbed wire topped fence was occasionally broken up by a 10 meter tall Tower, manned by 3 heavily armed soldiers and with mounted spot lights and what looks to be gun turrets. Even more soldiers constantly patrol around the house and the outside of the fence. Noone would be able to get in or out without being noticed if not even be shot right away.

The small army of guards however did not deter the protesters. A rough headcount told Y/n that there were atleast 2000 People demanding for him to be set free, a look on TV revealed that the other Kingdoms had similar protests going on, some even reaching over ten thousand protesters. All around Remnant people, mostly Faunus, demand for Y/ns freedom. In Vale the council is being asked why they would allow Atlas to arrest a Valean Huntsmen-in-training even Mistrals council is slowly being put under pressure as Y/n is a citizen of Mistral and as such should be held under either Vales or Mistrals juristiction, should have been arrested by Vales police, not by a special force unit from Atlas.

The SDC and the Army of Atlas are under investigation. What Y/n had revealed can no longer go ignored, it was impossible to sweep under the rug, impossible to take out of the peoples minds. Too many have seen the broadcast, too many have read the papers.

Y/n chuckled as he looked outside the window of his temporary office to look upon the protest. It was still peaceful, sure a few harsh words towards the soldiers and the robots have been said, but nothing has happened yet passed that. Still it was a string pulled so much it might snap any second. A single mistake can cause the whole thing to turn violent.

But who would want that?

Y/n: 'Sebas?' Y/n opened a message to the man.

Sebas: 'Yes Deamonius-sama?' The man instantly answered.

Y/n: 'Has Solution got one of her puppets ready?'

Sebas: 'Yes Deamonius-sama.'

Y/n: 'Do it.' The moment he gave the order Y/n saw a stone being thrown from somewhere within the crowd, hitting a soldier, who ofcourse raised his weapon, screaming something. Another stone was all it took for the fight to break out.

The soldier who was hit by the rocks opened fire. At least 20 citizens were killed right away, the people around them on both sides stared in shock before rushing in. The soldiers began to fight the protesters.

Closing the blinds Y/n went back to the paperwork on his desk. A slight smile on his face. One which quickly turned into a sad frown as Winter walked into the room.

The Atlas Specialist was put in charge of closely monitoring Y/n. She did not really do much and mostly stayed in the mansion with Y/n. Two days had passed since Y/ns arrest and the two barely talked. That seems to be about to change.

Winter: "Please follow me into the common room." She said acting sternly.

Y/n: "I hope that soldier will face proper punishment." Y/n spoke with fake worry. The woman looked hesitant to answer making Y/n frown. "Has Atlas already forgotten their humanity? Are the people just as much of heartless machines as their soldiers?" With a snarl Y/n opened the window. "STOP!" His voices echoed other the screams of the fight and silenced them in an instant. "Is a single stone all it takes for the protectors to become the threat the are meant to defend people from? Is there not a single speck of humanity left in Atlas Soldiers? Stop the fighting. Stop the senseless murder! Too many already were harmed. Disperse." Winter watched in shock as the protesters followed Y/ns word and began to leave. The outcome of the fight revealed itself. The once clean road was covored in blood, bodies layed in the rain littered with holes.
