Chapter 21

Y/n stood ontop the highest building he could find. Behind him Narberal stood. The overlord looked around the ruined city that was Mount Glenn.

With sick glee the boy imagined how it must have looked when the Grimm came crashing in. The destruction, fires and slaughter. The screams. The cries.

His short moment of enjoyment was interrupted by the sight of an approaching Bullhead. It was strange, no flight routes should lead over Mount Glenn, nor were any reinforcements planned.

Y/n watched the Bullhead fly past him and slowly descent behind some buildings.

Y/n: "Narberal." Was all he needed to say for the maid to rush off towards where the Bullhead must have landed.

The White Fang members did not know what to expect as a giant black vortex appeared near them, but they definetally did not expect a young man to step out of it.

Y/n: "Who is in charge of this opperation?" Y/n asked. The faunus looked around at eachother questioningly. "Noone?" With a sigh Y/n pointed at the closest faunus. "[Takeover]" The man suddenly convulsed as then stood stiffly. "Answer."

White Fang Member: "Adam Taurus."

Y/n: "Where is he?"

Adam: "Right here. Now free my man or face the consiquences." Y/n chuckled.

Y/n: "You have not contacted Sienna in a long time havent you? Let me bring you up to speed." With the snap of his fingers every single White Fang soldier fell down dead, all except of Adam who quickly took out his sword and rushed to attack Y/n.

Narberal quickly got inbetween the overlord and the faunus, blocking the attack.

Y/n: "I wonder what I should do to you. You are one of the highest people on Vales wanted list, not that money is of any use to me." Y/n said while Narberal and Adam fought. Nerberal knew that she was to hold back as to not kill Adam. "But first it is a bit rude to keep that mask on don't you think?" In an instant said mask broke into two pieces from a swift attack from Narberal. Y/n stopped upon spotting the brand. "Narberal stop." The maid jumped back but stayed ready to protect her master. "Interesting. Say what brought you to the White Fang?"

Adam: "What do you think?!" The man snarled.

Y/n: "Yeah, stupid question. How about this. I like your style, so what would you say if I can give you your well deserved vengance and in exchange you work for me?" Adam hesitated. "You want the SDC to crumble to dust, the Schnee family to be revealed as the monsters they make out the faunus to be. But instead of murdering humans left and right how about you and me hit them right where it hurts."

Adam: "Cut of the snakes head." Adam mumbled. "No it is impossible. Jaques is too well guarded, no matter how much we try it will only end in our deaths." The laugh from Y/n made Adam faulter.

Y/n: "Do you really think I will simply kill Jaques? No, he is a businessman and as a businessman he has a lot of weakspots we can abuse. You are one of them." Y/n stepped closer causing Adam to raise his sword. "Think about it Adam. What would the people of Remnant think of the SDC when they find out how the faunus are treated in their mines? How Atlas is aiding them enslave faunus and turns a blind eye to their crimes? With a single well placed hit not just the SDC but the entire leading class of Atlas will be on thin eyes, ready to fall into the freezing cold below."

Adam: "What do you need me to do?" Adam asked after a moment of silence.

Y/n: "Drop the costume and come to Juniors Club, tell Junior that I send you and that he is to call me the moment you arrive. We continue from there." The boy turned but stopped as Adam asked another question.

Adam: "How am I supposed to get to Vale? You killed my pilots."

Y/n: "That I did... [Skeleton Soldier]." Two of the Faunus bodies get consumed by a black sludge that errupted from their eyes and mouths. A few seconds later two skeletons burst out of the sludge one of which had a tail just like the woman it came from. "Which were you pilots?" With shaking hands Adam points at two bodies not far away from the kneeling skeletons. "[Memory Transfer]" Placing one hand on the head of a skeleton and the other on the head of the pilot Y/n transfered all the important memories to his two new soldiers. "Fly this man back to Vale and when plunge yourself into the sea." They nodded and turned towards the Bullhead. "Don't keep me waiting Adam." Y/n said and waved before leaving. "Oh I just love the feeling of getting a new toy." Narberal stayed silent. "Let us go back. Just to make sure." A gate opened and Aura stepped out. "Hello Aura, thank you for coming on such short notice."

Aura: "No no! We Floor Guardians always await your orders, no matter the time we are ready to follow them. What is it I can do?"

Y/n: "Get some wolves and let them maul those corpses, let it look like Grimm killed them."

Aura: "Very well, anything else?"

Y/n: "How is the taming of Grimm going?" Y/n asked after settling down on a nearby piece of wall.

Aura: "I am terribly sorry my lord but I just can't seem to be able to tame them as of yet." Aura looked at her feet in shame.

Y/n: "Do not worry about that Aura. The Grimm have been nothing more than a nuisance, I simply was interested in seeing if it was possible."

Aura: "You are too nice my lord." Aura said as two wolf like creatures came out of the Gate. If Y/n remembered them correctly they were Bark Wolves, the lovest level creature in the max level biome The World Tree. They were resistant to nearly all types of magic along with having a high resistance against blunt and piercing damage. The best way to fight them was using an axe type weapon enchanted to increase their damage against wood. Momonga used to hate these things seeing that most of his favorite spells did little to no damage to them.

Well there always was the cheesy way of kitting the wolves out of the inside of the world tree where they would suffer a 20% debuff to all stats.

Said debuff made the Bark Wolf a bad tame for most fights and also caused the creation of Nazaricks very own giant tree, which doubled as Auras and Mares home.

Y/n shook his head at the memory of how Blue Planet and the others went over the top while creating the many floors of Nazarick. Nobody ever got further when the second floor even with most of the Guildmembers having quit the game.
