Remnant was in a state of shock.
One of the biggest symbols of the peace between the four kingdoms, the Amity Arena, had vanished without a trace.
Admidst the chaos the sudden opening of chasms spewing Grimm right into the city, the giant floating structure dissappered.
Now both the citizens of Vale and Atlas were putting the pressure on their council. Afterall it was Vales job to host the Vytal festival and Atlas' job to aid in secruity.
But now, without the arena the Vytal festival will most likely be cancelled. For the first time in over 60 years the festival will not be held. The next generation of Huntsmen will not be paraded like a new kind of weapon.
Y/n had made a fortune with his Gates as thousands upon thousands of people went back to their home kingdoms, no longer willing to stay in Vale if the festival will not be celebrated anymore.
Meanwhile nearly the entire continent of Anima was burning. Already the estimated deaths has reached over half a million people. Either they burned to death, they suffocated, got crushed by burning debris or were slaughtered by the Grimm attracted to their suffering.
It had filled Y/ns demonic heart with glee as he listened to the news reports telling of the sudden wildfire that had engulfed the entire continent in only a couple of days.
Relationships between the Kingdoms began to fray at the egdes. First did Vacou deny Mistral any help with it's current disaster, then Mistral demanded aid from Atlas and Vale, both Kingdoms however were busy dealing with the accusations of having taken the Amity Arena back to Atlas without telling anyone so Vale can use the arenas Dust to deal with the low supply.
Currently the Headmasters of the four Huntsmen Academies were holding a speech, trying to repair the cracks that had formed. Only Ozpin and Ironwood actually made good arguements, while Lionheart from Haven and Theodore from Shade, let the other two handle this, seemingly like they always had done.
Hearing the door to the Throne Room opening Y/n looked up from his Scroll. It was Adam who entered.
Y/n: "What can I do for you Adam?" The Overlord asked after motioning Albedo to stay where she was.
Adam: "I hate having a debt left unpaid. You granted me these great powers, helped me drag the Schnees through the mud and now you are also feeding and housing me. I owe you more than just my loyalty, so please, give me a task, anything I can do to start repaying you." The man said while kneeling down.
A giant smile grew on Y/ns face, he knew Adam was loyal, the conversion into one of his Demons made sure of it, but he did not expect him to be this loyal.
Y/n: "You are in luck, there is something I need you to do."
Adam: "Tell me and it will be done." He promised.
Y/n: "At the moment I have two out of the four Maidens. Autumn or Fall as you call it and Spring. The other two are still out there somewhere, but seeing that Autumn was in Vale and Spring was in Mistral, I have a feeling that Summer and Winter will be in Vacou and Atlas. I will send you to Vacou, start spreading your Envy and try to locate the Maiden." Adam nodded and rose back to his feet.
Adam: "I will depart right away, my Lord."
Y/n: "Have Summer open a Gate for you." As Adam closed the doors behind him a smile grew on Y/ns face. While Roman and Junior were loyal through fear and the time they already served under him, Adam had become unquestionably loyal through his ascension... descend... change into demonhood. And now through his ingrained envy and jealousy of Junior and Roman, Adam felt forced to take action to gain his masters favor.
