Memories' Revenue

Malamig dito sa terrace ng kwarto ko, I covered myself with a warm blanket so that I could cope with the cold. I'm not alone, I'm with Agazhe and Zeia right now. Sa ilang minutong dumaan na magkasama kaming tatlo dito, we only talked about nonsense. Sa tuwing magsasalita naman ang dalawa, hindi talaga mawawala 'yong tawa nila.

Paano naman magiging maayos ang pag-uusap namin? E' ang barumbado ni Agazhe. Si Zeia naman full of wisdom.

Coping mechanism ko ang magspent ng time sa kanila para hindi ako lonely.

Hindi naman gaano kadilim dito dahil masyadong bright ang moon. We don't any lights anymore. The Moonlight is already enough to kill the dark.

Guess what, I had fun being with them. No joke, kanina pa kaming nagkwe-kwentuhan dito habang may mga snacks sa gitna. We saved it earlier, hindi namin kinain.

"Aren't you cold? I could share my blanket with you. My blanket is wide." Zeia offered Agazhe.

Umiling lang naman si Aga, mukhang tinatanggihan niya ang offer. "I'm not concern! I'm just generous, that's why." Zeia defended.

Natawa lang ako. Parang nawala ang sakit sa mga katawan ko because of spending time with this two.

"Ikaw, Gucci? Gusto mo ng blanket?" Zeia asked.

"No thanks."

"Saka nga pala, 'yong sinabi mo sa'kin kanina, Gucci, na patungkol sa breakup mo. Tarantado pala 'yon, eh. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko akalain na may boyfriend ka na pala noong nameet kita. Crush kita sa totoo lang." He mumbled with so much interest in his voice. Damn, what crush?

I know him, he's just joking. I know his personality, he likes joking around. Kaya sino pa ba ang maniniwala sa kaniya? Kahit na sa maikling panahon na 'to, nakabisado ko na kaagad ang personality niya. He's that typical guy na parang hindi mo maaasahan sa mga secrets mo. Ilang minuto, ibubunyag niya kaagad. Gano'n siya kadaldal.

"May boyfriend ka?" Si Zeia.

I gulped a water first before answering his question. "Yeah noon, but right now, I have none." Sagot ko.

Si Agazhe ang unang nagpaalam na umalis. He's already sleepy and tired.

Zeia and I stayed.

We talked a lot.

"Bakit nandito pa kayo?" Parehas kaming nagulat ni Zeia nang dahil sa boses ni Yndra.

"General, eh kasi-" Zeia is having a hard time to explain.

"We got lost." I simply explained.

I know that Yndra is too smart to believe us but she still let us go. Hinatid niya kami sa kaniya-kaniya naming barracks.

"Since when did the two of your hanged out together?"

"Since the first day, Yndr-" lumunok ako. I shouldn't call her with a first name basis. "I mean, General Falconite. She approached when I was friendless that time."

When arrived at the barracks. I'm having a hard time to go... I don't want to be left here with Glory.

"Please, don't leave me here..." I held Yndra's arms.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"I-I'm just scared." Palusot ko na medyo totoo.

Then she gave a word, again.

Hindi nawawala ang mangha ko sa tuwing sinasagot ako ni Yndra. It felt like she's already alive everytime she talks to me... Noong dati, walang buhay siya kung magsalita sa'kin. I know Yndra's ego, para sa'kin hindi niya kinakausap ang mga taong may mas mababang status sa kaniya, kaya it's better to lie than to be, belittle by her. Because, God, she can hurt with her tounge.
