At that moment, she knew death was her only savior. For all hope was gone but death.

Death that mysterious void who denies everything of anything. Even stories disappear with death, melodies became silent, and memories disappear.

As if none of it happen.

As if none of it was real.

All that was left was the mourning of those whose still alive. Longing for the pain to disappear. Longing for something else beyond the void. A life better than this one. A heaven or hell.

Could it be peace or pain?

As the dead poet looks Death into its eyes. She knew that her time has stopped, along with her heart along with her sorrow.

Her sorrow?

What is sorrow? -

For a moment she has forgotten what it was like to feel. Pain, happiness, anger. It was as if the emotions that create her humanity itself have left her soul.

She came towards Death with a smile. Not because she was unafraid of it, she came accepting Death as her fate. The soulmate she never met before. She held herself with courage and fear.

"It'll be okay." Death whispers as it held her hand. "Soon it'll end, soon you'll be free. You did your best. In this life, you were someone who lives with wisdom and dignity, with kindness and grace, you've learned to forgive. I am proud of you my dear child. And in this galaxy of misery and pain, you'll be free. You've proven yourself worthy. You chose to accept the pain they have caused you with forgiveness. You've learned to understand how the world works. That no one here is your enemy but broken shards leave scars to those that tries to hold them. "

You both smiled.

Finally, someone who understands, you thought

"Goodbye mortal, may the Gods show you kindness."
