when you wake up..

You were once my beloved, as I was to you.

But the dawn of time took you away from me.

Far up in the clouds, hidden deep among the stars.

We're now two worlds apart 

it's a thorn in my hurt.

For I could only meet you now in your dreams

and whisper "I miss you."

I beg for time to slow down 

I beg for the gods forgiveness.

Blurred lines ,

an unknown face.
