promessa não uma ameaça; promise, not a threat

"Relax, princess. It's just a dream," a soothing familiar voice told me. I snuggled more into their body heat recognizing the smell made me shot up. "The fuck. What are you doing here," I exclaimed. "What are you doing here," Klaus said. "I just asked you that question. You can't just lie in bed with me without my acknowledgment. I never told you that you could sleep with me especially after earlier," I said.

"I don't know what you're talking about. You came into bed with me. I woke up and you were clinging onto me," Klaus said in a cocky tone. "No, I didn't," I argued. Maybe I did. Klaus just smiled as if he knew what I was thinking and went back to his book. "Fine. Get out," I huffed. "Princess, this is my room," he said.

"Fine," I said and stalked out of the room. I saw Stefan and tilted my head in confusion. "Stefan," I said and Klaus soon came out of the room too.

"I'm surprised you're still in town. I gave you your freedom. You could have gone anywhere," Klaus said. "I live here, Klaus," Stefan said practically. "Well, if we're playing this game, then, uh... I was here first," Klaus said. "You know, I don't like your hybrid friends. They're everywhere, kind of like fleas

I want them gone," Stefan said and I threw my hand to my chest offendedly. "I'm truly hurt, Stefan," I said.

"Yeah, well, uh, I kind of like having them around. You know, I'm hurt. I hoped that, uh, I'd free you and we'd pick up where we left off. But here you are, guzzling like the rest of them, I'm sure. So much for friendship," Klaus said. This guy sounds really lonely.

"Friends don't strip friends of their free will," Stefan said and I agreed with him by nodding my head frequently. "Okay, granted, yeah, that was a little extreme, but I get a little moody. Jut aks my siblings. Speaking of whom... isn't time you handed them over," Klaus said as the two stepped closer to one another. "Klaus... get your hybrids out of Mystic Falls or I will remove them myself," Stefan threatened.

"Mhm. You see, if you continue to threaten me, I'm going to be forced to retaliate. Kill people. And it'll it messy again," Klaus said. "Do whatever you want. I don't really care. Or you know what? Maybe I do. Yeah. Yeah, maybe I care so much that I drop Elijah into the artic," Stefan said. Here come the threats.

"Well, maybe I'd be willing to lose one brother if it meant killing yours," Klaus said. "Try me. Let's find out," Stefan said and they both smiled. One of Klaus's hybrids came in to check out the situation. "Is everything okay," Mindy asked. "Everything is fine, Mindy. Stefan was just leaving after failing to make his point," Klaus said. Both smiled once again then Stefan sped around and kicked Mindy's head off of her shoulders.

My eyes widen as I examined the body from afar. "Well... one down. You may want to, uh, send the rest of them away before it gets messy... again," Stefan said then he left. "I'm going to go too. Today is my sister's birthday," I cheered despite the situation. Klaus just shooed me off and I left.

When I got to my house Elena, Bonnie and Matt shocked me when they yelled out "surprise." "Good one guys. Let's try again but this time the right person," I said and they seemed bummed. "The hats are over there," Bonnie said. I grabbed a hat and went into hiding to surprise Caroline when she got home.

Moments later we heard Caroline unlocking the door. Once she was in the house we jumped out and yelled surprise. "Happy Birthday," Matt said. "What are you guys doing here," Carolien asked. "I live here," I shrugged. "Well, You blew off school and missed our, work of birthday art. So, uh," Elena explained. "Change into warmer clothes. We're going to the falls. Smores, campire," Bonnie siad. "Cake. Like when we were little," Elena said.
