grande momento; big time

"Tell me you're not serious," Caroline said over the phone with Elena. Caroline came back after my heart to heart with Klaus ever since then he's been smirking at me. "I wish I weren't. When we got back from looking for Jeremy, Shane and Bonnie were both gone, too. Shane needs Bonnie to cast a spell on Jeremy's tattoo in order to find the cure and he managed to sneak them both out from under our noses."

"Well, where's Damon in all this," I asked. "We had an argument. I thought he was just taking a walk, but then when we went to the beach we saw signs of struggle," Elena said. "Meaning what?"

"Meaning somebody probably jumped him and then grabbed him," Elena said. "Do you think Shane took him," Caroline asked. "C'mon, be realistic. Guy couldn't even break a pencil if he wanted to. Somebody else is on that island. Be careful," I taunted. I know who the other person was. Katherine was probably just having her fun with Damon then is gonna throw him back to them.

"I wish there was something we could do," Caroline said with sympathy. "I think there is. We need to translate the map. We can't do it unless Cam could get the hunter's sword from Klaus," Elena said. I coughed.

"He's not going to give it up," I heard Rebekah say. "Yeah, but if anyone is going to get him to give it up, it's Cameron," Stefan said. I was a blushing mess back here. "Okay! You're on speakerphone," I snatched the phone from Caroline.

"Just send the pictures," I said and hung up the phone. "Need my help on anything, Luv," Klaus asked. "Nope," Caroline answered for me and left to find the sword by herself.

"Okay. Do you want to do this the hard way or the easy way," I asked sitting on the counter. "What the hard way, princess," he asked. "Don't know yet."

Moments later I did get the location out of him and sent it to Caroline. Don't ask me how just know it involved a lot of... touching.

Now Caroline and Tyler are back with the sword. "Well, if it isn't little orphan Lockwood. Come to show how laughably impotent you are against me," Klaus smiled. "Klaus, you do know that you're an orphan too along with me," I asked.

"I'm just trying to help my friends find the cure. Found this in your attic," Tyler pulled out the sword. "And you think finding the sword brings you closer to the cure," Klaus asked.

"You tell me. I was playing around with the handle on the ride over... and I found this," Tyler revealed a cryptex on the sword's handle. "It's called a cryptex. I've seen The Da Vinci Code. You turn the different sides to the different symbols to get the translation on the other side. And, with the magic of the internet, Elena sent over these. So now all we have to do is cryptex away. If you happened to want to help, we wouldn't stop you," I explained.

"Right. Well, might I suggest using the magic of the internet to purchase an Aramaic-to-English dictionary from your nearest retailer," Klaus witted and I glared at him. "What's Aramaic," Tyler asked. "Well, if it says Aramaic-to-English you'd think it is a language. And since Klaus is being smart-mouthed it's probably a dead language that he only knows. How convenient," I said sarcastically with enthusiasm.

"In bas so-teen-too ara-ma-eet," Klaus said. "Você é um idiota. Eu odeio sua coragem," I said in the same tone. "What does that mean," Caroline asked. "If only you spoke Aramaic," Klaus smirked.

<~>

"Okay. This is it. We've translated all the symbols on the tattoo. Passage inside... requires a young senator and a pretty flower. Okay, none of this makes sense," Caroline fussed.

"No. Young senator is the hunter and the pretty flower is a witch," I corrected. "How would you know that," Tyler asked. "Well think of everybody that went on the trip. Elena, Damon, Stefan, and Rebekah are all useless meat. Shane, Bonnie, and Jeremy are who you really need. Shane is just knowledge that could be passed on to somebody else so it's Bonnie and Jeremy. That's why Shane took them," I explained.

"Bring my sword," Klaus asked and I handed it to him carelessly. "Silas rests on the far side, the means of his destruction at hand. Turn the cryptex to the right. Stop. The top of the hilt reveals a key to a nautical map. Turn it to the left. Now turn the other piece. Wait. There's something else..." Klaus spoke in Aramaic just to get on my nerves.

My face deadpanned waiting for him to give me the translation. "There's only one dose," Klaus said. At that Caroline called Elena but Rebekah picked up. Caroline told her the news but quickly cut the phone when Klaus tried to tell her there was only one dose of it.

Jerk.

Now that Rebekah knows the race for the cure officially begins.

Later on that same night Caroline was now saying goodbye to Tyler for the last time. He had to run or Klaus was going to kill him. Klaus let him run therefore he wasn't actually going to kill him just to make him scared. Caroline was hurting so I was going to be there for her until it was my time to leave also.

I sat outside with her on the porch and she laid her head on my lap as I played with her hair. "How did you get out," Caroline asked. I turned to see who she was talking to and Klaus stood right before me. "I fear something awful has befallen your friend Bonnie," Klaus said. I got up and walked closer to him.

"All for you," Klaus said and then he left. I have no idea what he is talking about. Oh well.

My phone started ringing and when I saw the contact I had to go into the house far enough to wear Caroline couldn't hear me.

"Hello," I said. "You've held up your end of the bargain now it's time for mine. I'll give you the information Shane didn't have. Your sibling, his name is Carlos and he lives in Louisiana. That's all I could find out but here's a little head up. Little Gilbert is dead," Katherine hung up after that.

"SHIT!!" I messed up big time.
