Chapter 8, Pt 2

After two greusome hours of driving, we finally reached the school.

Today was an 'A' day so I was in History first. I was nearly asleep. Watching history movies really knocks out your alertness.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Lyons?" I raised my hand.

"What boy?"

"A little harsh," I said gleaming at her, "can I go to the restroom?"

"Uhh," she looked at her watch, "go ahead.

Luckily, I seen Jason in the halls. "Psst!"

He turned my way and smiled. We jogged to each other midway and hugged.

"How you holding up?" His face was remarkably good even though he had cuts and bruises.

"Im doing good. I can tell Trix is watching over me. I might sound like a weirdo but I can feel her at times, haha" I said laughing.

"Aww, that's good and you're my weirdo." He pulled me in for a deep kiss and hug.

"Ewwww." Someone said.

I turned to see this girl named Precious. "Umm?" I asked.

"If you're gonna kiss, do it somewhere private. And hey Jason." She said walking back to class.

"You know her?" I asked him.

"Yeap, one of my besties. I told her yesterday night I was Bi. I told her about you as well." He smiled.

I smiled extremely hard, "You're coming out?"

"Yup," he nodded in a funny manner, "Just for you."

"Yes! I want to talk but I gotta go to class, alright?"

"Alright.." He pointed and then walked off.  I walked in Mrs.Lyons class and sat down. I waited for fourth block, which is our free block, to come.

-Time Lapse-

I walked to the football field and sat on the bleachers. I just saw everyone either skipping or enjoying their free block.

"Hey Ryan!" Someone yelled.

I turned to see Precious, one of Jason's friends, or as I thought.

"You betta stay away from my man, punk!" She growled.

I stared in utter confusion, "umm...." I didn't know what to say.

"Jason is straight and we've been going out for 3 years now! This is a warning! Stay away or else." She stormed down the bleachers in rage then all of a sudden, she tripped and fell through.

"Oh my god.." I ran, more like jogged carefully, down the bleachers and helpped her up.

She pushed me off her, "I don't need you!" I stood there, just confused.

"What a bitch, huh?" Someone said.

I turned to see a random kid behind me.

"Umm, who are you?"

"Josh, mate!" He said in a jolly, Australian accent. He wore a button down Polo shirt with tight skinny jeans.

"Nice to meet you Josh, now I have to go..."

"Ha,  alrighty! See ya round." He walked off and so did I.

I walked the tracks around the football field thinking.
