The next day Jason told me what happened. I didn't believe him at first but when the policemen were found dead later on that day... It was real.
"Mom.." I said as she watched the news.
Her attention was directed on the television , "Yes?"
"W..." I was scared to ask, "What happened to dad?"
Tears started to roll down her eyes, ".....He's gone."
"Gone?" I asked in curiosity.
"Well... When we came from New York. At first your father didn't have enough money to buy the hone down here so he borrowed from a mafia." She started looking out the window..,"The next week..he didn't gave enough money to pay back so they man-napped him. After that years passed and I never seen him again.." Tears rolled down as she looked.
I slowly went to my room, thinking. I was terrified of life at this current moment...will they get me next? Is my father still alive?
