Chapter 11 Pt 2

"Wheres my baby!?" Ryan's mom screamed in the halls. I quickly got up and ran out the door.

"Shh!" I whispered yell. She seen and came towards the room and instantly hugged him.

"Oh my precious baby! I heard that he's gonna come out the coma soon."

Silence...Breathing...

"He sure is. A couple of days from now and well have our Ryan back." I said with a smirk.

She turned towards me, "I really appreciate you staying overnight with Ryan.. It means so much to me and to him."

"Its no problem.. I love him as much as you do." It was pretty weird saying it to his mom, but, she was alright with it.

"I got to go back to work. I missed the passed three days paying Ryan's bills and I can't miss another day."

"Alright Ms. Sanchez." I said laughing.

She scurried out the door and went to work again. As usual, I sat with Ryan and watched Tv.

"Ryan..I'll be right back. I have to use the restroom."

He shook the muscles in his hand as a yes, I think, and I walked out the door. The hall smelt just like medicine and sanitizers. Doctors here and there, young and old patients. All of what a hospital is.

"Excuse me mam, where is the restroom?" I asked a nurse.

She pointed down the hall and I started walking. As I passed each door, I noticed the pain and suffering some of the families were receiving. I felt bad for them because some of them were on death row...

"Move!" An emergency doctor shouted from in front me.

I quickly jolted to the right and saw them go down the hall and turn into Ryan's room.

"Oh no.." I ran to his door and saw the doctors giving him CPR. "What's happening?"

"His body is giving out and he stopped breathing! Stand back! Clear!" His body was shocked with a thousand volts of electricity. It was a horrific sight but he started breathing again.

I sat back in the chair, heart pounding but a huge wave of relief came upon me. "How is he?" I asked in curiosity.

"He's fine, he's just getting ready to wake up sometime soon. It's going to be a slow process though."

"Ok.." Is all I can say right now. I just wanted all this misery to be over with.

I stood up over him and was shocked by what I saw. His eyes were opening...slowly.
