Chapter 8, On The Way
The ONLY thing that has not been touched by the tornado was school.
"Mom, why can't I just stay home?" My voice was whimpered from crying last night.
"Education is the key to success." My mom said dearly.
I gleamed at her with vicious eyes, "Really, that corny comeback?"
"What you say?" She grabbed the frying pan with the bacon in it.
"Oh! I had said, uhh, that warmy moustache!" I laughed.
"Real funny!" My mom grabbed the biscuits and threw them at me.
"Mom! My shirt!" I yelled while laughing real hard.
Honk Honk!!
"The bus! Hurry, go get on." My mom quickly handed me a paper plate with food wrapped in foil.
"Alright, bye mom." I said walking to the bus.
I got on and sat in my usual seat...it was much different since...I quickly changed the subject.
I looked up to see Jason get on the bus. He made a quick gesture , pointing to his father outside.
I turned my head and looked at him. He nodded and smiled. I turn to Jason and he sat on my seat.
"But, your dad?"
"He's cool, we talked. Bianca helped me out. Like..a lot."
"Haha." As the bus pulled to the next stop, Sean came to the back.
"Ryan? Right."
"Uh..Yea." I looked at Jason and he was smiling. No signs of nervousness.
"Uh, I'm one of Jason's bros from the Team..."
The team?
"I just wanted to say sorry about the gay part, Jason told me everything. I hope were coo-"
"SIT DOWN AND SHUT UPP!!" Our crazy bus driver yelled.
"Were cool haha." I whispered to him.
Everything...was getting better and better. I then looked up out the window, "Thanks Trix.."
