Chapter 4

Chap 4, A New Day At School

Gooood morning Carvander High! Another wonderful day has passed yet again and now for another beautiful one. Coming up this week is the Pearl Harbor Raiders Vs our Southern Eagles on Friday at 5:30 P.m.  Come support the team! On Saturday, there will be a parade going straight through downtime! Come enjoy the music!!

 

I was in Trigonometry, my first block and nothing unusual happened. I see the three girls from the mall and they just waved at me like normal people. A few minutes later, a swarm of students rush through the door as the bell rings.

"Alright class," Professor Jones said, "Please take out your take home test and pass it up."

Nooooo!!! I forgot to finish it!!

I threw my head on the desk and sighed. Instead of getting a zero, I'll just turn what I have in.

I then reached in my bag and grabbed the test and looked at it.  "Only two questions done... Oh well, here Lori." Lori was one of my good friends who helped me through a lot of problems. She's pretty cool in my words.

"You did know it was due today, right?" Ms. Jones asked.

"I know, I know. I was real busy, sorry." I said.

"Finish it tomorrow, ok? Everyone who isn't done with it, just being it tomorrow."

Half of the class cheered and I knew today would be a good day.

Two blocks passed and the end of the day neared.  As I was walking to Physics, I seen Trix in the hall. She didn't look to good...I remember she told me her outfits match her emotion and...this was all black. Last time she wore all black, she nearly committed suicide...

"Trix, are you ok?" I asked placing my hand on her shoulder. She was cold and her make up was..., I can't even explain it.

Her eyes started tearing up, "My mom..." She started crying so I pulled her into a deep hug, "she died of cancer." It was like Trix Lost her life as well. She was dull and lifeless...

"It'll be alright." I felt devastated for her. Trix and her mother were like sisters, always there for each other and shared the same emotions.

Ring Ring

"Come on, we gotta go to class." When Trix and I finally arrived, we were 15 minutes late. The teacher looked at me and her then understood what had happened so he let us in.

We sat next to Jason in the very back and Trix layed her head down on the lab table next to me.

"Is she gonna be ok?" He whispered.  I nodded and started paying attention to the teacher, tapping my pen.  She issued us to take out our reports.

"Oh noo!" I whispered yell.  This was the second assignment I forgot. I was so frustrated. It was like the world came crashing down on me.

"No worries." Jason said holding my hand secretly. He grabbed the report out his bag and passed it up.

I was extremely excited and relieved. "Jason...thank you so much."

He quickly turned my way and kissed me on the forehead. I smiled but then my smile turned to a frown when I saw Trix.

I need to help her...but how?
