Chapter 9, Dear God?

"Nice work maggots! Now! Run the track 5 more times before we begin practice!" The football coach yelled. The entire team darted to the tracks and bolted in the same direction. I heard that they were training for the upcoming games, hoping to win the championship this year.

As they came around, I stared at each one, hoping to spot #16, a.k.a Jason. He was near the front, leading the team around the track. My hearing wasn't that well but Im sure that he was motivating the team. Saying how good they were and why they shouldn't give up.

Psst

"Huh?" I looked everywhere but couldn't find anyone.

"Down here..." I looked beneath the bleachers and saw Sean.

"Oh..hi Sean?" i asked in slight confusion.

"You like.." He was twitching and his eyes were red, "football right?"

I nodded yeah, "It seems fun, pretty legit."

"Come with me.." He turned and walked slowly.

"Umm........" I stared at him.

"Now." He lifted his shirt and showed a gun. My eyes widen in horror. "If you scream or make any signal, I will kill you..."

I had no choice so I got up from my seat and walked down the bleachers.

"Sean..what are you doing?" I looked at him while walking. We went behind the school towards an old outdoor classroom.

He pulled the gun out and wipped it as we entered the door. "You see...," he paused, "I never did like you."

"What?"

"You're so annoying! So stupid! Gah I could never stand you!" He started twitching even more. His nose was bright white, just like cocaine.

"Sean, you're on drugs! Calm down!"

"Sigh..."

He held the gun up towards me.

I took a huge puff of air...

He cocked it back.

"JASON!!!!" I yelled with all my heart. If he didn't hear me..it's over. My life would have been tooken away, mainly by a person on drugs. This, the confusion, the insanity. Life. All crashing down on me. Why.

He pulled the trigger.
