The next day, I woke up in my bed... How did I get here? Was that a dream? I ran to the mirror in my bathroom and looked at my face. I burst into tears... A huge Band-Aid covered the left side of my face. I ran down stairs to find a note on the counter in the kitchen...

Dear Ryan,

Went to work, left food in the fridge. The doctor said leave the Band-Aid on your face also and when I get home, you're going to tell me what happened. Make sure to take Kobe out and be good! By the way, today's Saturday. You can go outside but, remember, leave the Band-Aid on your face.

Love, Mom..

I crinkled up the letter and threw it in the trash. I love my mom; she's always there for me, and Kobe; the best dog a guy could have.

"Kobe!" I yelled from the kitchen. A few minutes late a black Labrador waddles in the kitchen. "Ready to go out boy?!" I said while attaching his collar. I wrapped it around the front door knob and went to go change and freshen up. I put on a fresh pair of black gym shorts, and a space colored Tee with some black shoes. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out the door. As I walked to the park, I checked my phone and found that I had 6 unread messages.

2 from Trix, and 4 from Jason... I checked Trix's first.

I started typing while arriving at the park.

-Heyyy, I'm At The Park, I Have To Tell You Something...?

I smiled and started walking towards the swings and then I seen it...The red Infiniti on the other side of the parking lot...

Jason's here...but where? I scanned all the areas but couldn't find him. I went to the swings and as I approached the hill I let Kobe go off the leash to have fun. As I reach the top of the hill, I see Jason petting Kobe...

"Ryan..." Jason looked up. "I'm..." tears started to form in his eyes. "I'm sorry Ryan!" Jason burst into tears and he wasn't the only one.

"Why...why did you do it?!" Anger started to rage like a storm in me.

"It's just that...Seth, he's an asshole! I couldn't talk him out of it if I didn't do it. He would ruin my reputation!"

"So being near or kissing me is wrong! Are you degrading me!? Is your so called 'Rep' worth more than me!" I yelled. Kobe ran over to me and started barking at Jason. I guess he understood our conversation and realized how I felt.

"No! That's not what I'm saying." Jason stepped closer. As he did that, I stepped a foot back. "Please Ryan...I wanted to do that ever since we we're young... It felt right...I felt safe and secure when I kissed you."

I've wanted to do that as well, ever since we we're young but I never told him.

"Ryan, I think I love you... I know its early but..." As he said that, my heart widened, I wanted to be with him so badly but what he had done...

"If you think you love me...prove it!" I stood there and so did he but then he took a step and stopped. I didn't move and he took more steps then jogged towards me and stood right in front of me.

"This is how I'll prove it," he grabbed my cheek, dodging the cut and then kissed me. His other hand pulled me close to him.

"Hey Ryan!....." Trix walked over the hill.

Jason saw her and his eyes widened with fear. He looked at me and stepped back.

"Jason...don't... please..." His hand formed into a fist and tears started coming down his face. "Jason! Please! Don't!" I yelled as tears rolled down my eyes.

He stepped towards me..........and pulled me into a deep hug.

"Help me, please!" My heart calmed and I hugged him as tight as I can.

"Jason, I'm here for you. I'll always be here... Now, meet Trix. My Best friend."

I motioned for Trix to come down where we were and she did. "Trix meet Jason."

She nodded, "I know who he is...just never thought, you'll get him."

I laughed and Jason blushed. "Now you gotta keep this a secret, alright bestie?"

"Won't tell a soul," Trix said in her southern accent, "Promise! I have so many questions though." Her eyes we're full of curiosity and a huge grin appeared across her face.
