There was a knock on my door and I sprang to my feet, pulling it open and giving Bruce a smile.
"Good morning!" I said.
"Good morning Buttercup," he murmured, kissing me.
I pushed the door shut behind us with my foot, wrapping my arms around his neck as his went around my waist. His firm hands moved lower, dipping below my waist and cupping my ass. He gave it a squeeze and I jumped, startled by the action, but immediately found myself wishing he'd do it again.
He bit seductively at my lower lip as we kissed and I answered the unspoken question, parting my mouth. His tongue slipped in, exploring my mouth hungrily, and I let out a soft moan. At last though it came to an end and he broke away.
"You taste like strawberries. It's sweet," he said with a soft smile, kissing me on the forehead.
I picked up his hands, squeezing them, and returned his smile.
"Strawberry lip gloss," I said with a shrug.
"Suits you, seeing as how you're also very sweet," he murmured, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Now, shall we head out for breakfast?"
"Do you think Eric will be mad?" I asked as I walked down the street with him, hand in hand.
"Mad? He'll probably be asleep until 2 in the afternoon, he was out late last night with Gene and Paul," Bruce said with a faint smile.
"Do you think Gene will tell him?" I asked after a pause.
Bruce let out a sigh before shaking his head.
"No, he won't. But we should...eventually," he said.
I nodded, squeezing his hand.
"I know. But maybe not yet. Not until he's calmed down about me being on tour and is less overprotective."
He smiled, giving me a kiss on the top of my head before holding open the door to the little restaurant we had found for breakfast. We were in Donington for the next show after the London one, but there were two days counting today before the show.
"So are you excited to go to Germany next?" Bruce asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Oh yes absolutely! I can't wait to go to Germany, I've never been anywhere in Europe so this has been so exciting! And...and it's been all the more wonderful because I met you."
"And because we fell in love," he said with a smile, eyes sparkling.
"Most definitely because we fell in love," I agreed.
Breakfast was absolutely wonderful as we shared a plate of waffles.
"Here Lovebug, open up," Bruce said, getting together a bite of waffle on his fork and holding it toward me.
Heart melting, I opened my mouth, letting him feed me the bite.
"You're just the absolute sweetest, did you know that?" I asked, cheeks turning pink.
He shook his head, blowing me a kiss.
"Hush I can't be the sweetest while you're here."
My cheeks grew even pinker, heart melting.
"You really are just too sweet, and I do mean that. I'm lucky that we met," I murmured. "And that you feel the same way I do."
"Oh trust me Y/N, I absolutely feel the same way you do. I love you Angel, more than I've ever loved anyone," he said, kissing me on the tip of my nose before rising to his feet and walking to pay our bill.
We walked around the city for a bit, still holding hands, before he turned to me, giving me a smile.
"We should probably head back," he murmured, giving me a soft kiss.
"Must we?" I asked, slipping my arms around his neck and giving him a pleading look.
"We must, if we don't want to wind up murdered by your brother," he said, kissing me on the forehead.
"One day we'll tell him and then we won't have to worry about this," I grumbled.
"One day. But in the meanwhile, we've gotta head back."
"Fine," I said with a sigh, squeezing his hand and walking with him down the street.
"Oh wait hold on," he said, dropping my hand. "Just wait right here I'll be right back," he said, ducking into a shop.
Frowning in curiosity I stood waiting on the sidewalk impatiently. At last he returned, giving me a fond smile and handing me the rose he had bought for me.
"It's not even close to as beautiful as you," he murmured, kissing me, and I melted inside.
"You are just the kindest person I know, I'm so lucky to have you! I've never had a boyfriend treat me as wonderfully and thoughtfully as you do," I said, so happy I was nearly skipping as we walked back to the hotel.
"Well then you've never had a boyfriend you deserved, because if they're not treating you at least as well as I've been trying to they're not good enough for you," he said with a smile.
Giggling, I squeezed his hand, walking back to the hotel with him, wishing we could stay like this forever.
