Saving Grace

Chapter 12

Grace's POV

These past few days have been loads of fun. We've been swimming and hiking, which was a lot of fun. And last night we went Bigfoot hunting. No it wasn't Kian or Sam's idea. Not even Jc, it was my older brother's idea. Might I say I never left Jc's side during those few hours of being outside looking for Bigfoot.

"On the count of three lift." Jc said to me. We're busy packing up because we are leaving later this morning and driving through the night to get home. "Ok." Me and Jc were putting away the grill. "One. Two. Three lift." We both lifted the grill up and into the trailer.

I moved out of the way and Jc pushed it to the back of the trailer. I picked up the stuff that needed to go back into the RV and I went inside while everyone else was finishing packing the trailer.

I organized everything and cleaned up a little bit. Then I notice the time. I stuck my head out of the door, "hey guys it's ten. I think we should be leaving soon." They finished up and started to get on the RV.

We all sat in the front part and Matt got in the driver's seat. He started up the RV and drove away from the beautiful scenery. "So do you guys have another wild adventure planned for us?" "Nope I think we're going to stay home for a little while." Jc said sitting down next to me.

We chatted for two hours about random stuff and a couple of the guys made videos for their YouTube channels. "Hey Grace lets go make a video for my channel." Me and Jc went back to the very back part of the RV and he sat up everything.

"Alright I was thinking we would do the boyfriend/girlfriend tag." He said sitting down on a couch in front of the camera. "Ok. Let me get some questions." I opened up notes on my phone and started to type questions.

Jc hit the record button on the camera and did his usual intro. "Today is a special day. As you can tell from the title that I'm doing the boyfriend/girlfriend tag so I thought I would introduce you to my girlfriend." I came into the shot, "what's up guys!!!..... Grace here." I said copying Jc's intro.

"So we're going to take turns asking each other five questions and who ever gets it right gets a point." Jc said. "And the winner gets to tweet off of the loser's Twitter." I said getting ready to answer questions. "Alright since I am a gentleman I'll let the lady go first."

"Alright this one is an easy one." I looked down at my phone. "I got this." "Alright what is my favorite food?" "Um... Taco Bell." I made a beep noise coming from my phone. "Nope. I love cheese pizza."

"Ok. Now what part of Texas am I from?" I thought about it for a second, "you were born in Huston but you have family in San Antonio." He looked at me in shook. "Ding ding. She gets a point." I did a little happy dance.

"Alright, what was my favorite TV show growing up?" He literally sat there and pondered this for about five minutes. "I swear I think you told me this but Power Puff Girls?" I made the beep noise come from my phone again. "Wrong. It was Code Name Kids Next Door."

"Ok. What are my sibling's names?" "Jaylyn, Joe Felix, and Ava Grace." "Best girlfriend in the world." He gave me a kiss on my cheek.

We asked each other two more questions and we were tied. "Alright you either going to know this one or be completely stomped." "Ok I can deal with that." "What Internet famous person have I've know my entire life?" "Ugh there's a fair amount of people from North Carolina that I think you might know."

"Do you give up?" He nodded his head yes. "I've know Connor my entire life." He laid down on the ground in front of the camera. "I'm a terrible boyfriend." "Come on. You have to give me my last question."

He got back on the couch, "alright what's my favorite food?" "That easy. Hot wings." "You win." He handed me his phone with Twitter opened.

"This is what I tweeted. 'Winner, winner chicken dinner. Lay in bed. You lost again. Welcome back Queen Grace.'" "You are pretty creative and the best girlfriend ever."

"Hey Grace I want to film a video with you for my channel." Connor asked me when we returned to the front of the bus. "Alright let's go."

I walked back with Connor and he set up his camera and lights. "Alright what are we doing?" "Two truths and one lie."

He did his usual intro and introduced me. "Today we'll be doing two truths and one lie. We'll be playing five rounds and the winner gets to tweet off the loser's Twitter." He gave out his first three and I got a point.

"Alright my turn. I can surf, I was a bridesmaid at my two older brother's wedding, and I've swam with a shark." "Ugh... I know you were a bridesmaid at your two older brother's wedding because I was there." I looked at the camera, "this is true."

"I wanna say the surfing one is a lie." I started to shake my head, "nope. I did not swim with sharks but I did swim with dolphins." We continued with the game and I end up winning in a tie breaker.

"Ok this is what I've tweeted off of Connor's Twitter. 'I win again, this ends the reign of King Franta. Welcome Queen Grace.'" I handed his phone back to him. "That's pretty clever Grace." He did his usual closing and stopped recording.

"Can I talk to about something to you?" He sat down across from me. "Anything Connor." Gee things were getting serious. "I've been seeing your brother for a while even though we just told you guys a couple of nights ago."

"What's your point Connor?" He shifted around in his seat a little. "I would like to purpose to your brother. I know I've probably should've gone to your older brother's but your closer." "Aww Connor's in love! But I have one condition." "What?" "I want nieces and nephews. I don't care if they are adopted or biological but I want nieces and nephews."

He got up from his spot and gave me a hug. "Thank you so much. You'll be the best sister-in-law ever." He let go of me, "so when do you plan on popping the question?" "Sometime within the next couple of weeks."

"Hey Connor, Matt wants to quickly switch drivers. Oh and Grace, Ricky wants to film a video with you." I rolled my eyes. I been spending four hours in the back of the bus filming videos for people's YouTube channel. "Fine send him back here Jc."

Me and Ricky filmed the seven second challenge witch was quit difficult seeing that we are on an RV. Me and Jc watched some movies with Sam. Seeing as Kian is sleeping, Matt is taking a power nap, Connor is driving, and Ricky is cooking something for us to eat for dinner.

"Dinner's ready!" We all gathered in the kitchen area besides Connor who is driving and Kian who is still sleeping.

We ate and we switched drivers again. "Connor do you want to watch a movie?" He nodded his head and we made our way to the back of RV.

I choose Bride Wars and Bridesmaid. Connor laughed at my choices because they were based on what he told me earlier. "Watcha doing?" Jc whispered into my ear. "I'm watching movies with Connor. What did you think I was doing?"

"I'd thought you'd be asleep. It is pretty late." I looked at my phone and Jc was right. It was pretty late. "I think I should go to bed. We'll talk tomorrow ok Connor?" He nodded his head and turned off the movie.

I slipped off my shoes and I put them in my book bag then I started to go around saying goodnight to everyone. I walked up to the very front where my brother was driving. "Hey I'm going to bed now. Is anyone going to be staying up with you?" "Yeah. Connor is. Plus were about five hours from home."

I walked to the middle where everyone, besides Connor, was getting ready for bed or getting in their bunks. "Good night everyone. See ya all in the morning." I climbed into my bunk and Jc was laying there on his phone. "We should be back in LA in five hours." "Do you think he's going to park in a parking lot because I highly doubt he wants to wake us up at that hour."

I got under the covers, "when we get back home can we go out? Just us two?" He thought about it for a little while. "Yeah that sounds like a good idea." He turned off his phone and turned over.

I can't wait to get home. I can't wait until Connor pops the question to Matt and the wedding planning starts. I can't wait for Jenna and Chris's child is born. Or when my dad is finally behind bars for good.

I thought about that stuff and a bunch of other stuff as a fell asleep to a moving RV.
