Saving Grace

Chapter 19

Grace's POV

I was putting tape on the final box. "Alright this one can go on the truck." Matt and Sammy came in and collected the box. We were finally moving out of the house today.

Earlier today we went to the new apartment and organized all of the new furniture. We also went out and got all of the decorative stuff, pots & pans, and cleaning products. Everything is perfect. Nothing can really go wrong.

"Grace!? Have you seen my keys?" Almost perfect. "Jc!" He showed up in front of me. "Yes?" I looked down and his keys are in his hand. "Your keys are in your hands." I grabbed them out and dangled them in front of his face.

"Oh thanks." He grabbed his keys. "You ready?" I nodded my head yes. "Alright let's go." We walked out the front door and Jc lock it and slipped the house key into the mail box.

Sammy honked the horn on the moving truck. "Hurry up guys!" Jc unlocked the car and we got in.

We made our way to the new apartment which was only five minutes away. We parked in the parking garage that was attached to the building. "Alright let's help Sammy and Matt unload that truck."

~skip unloading truck~

I was busy unpacking the kitchen stuff. Including the stuff we got from Target when there was a knock on the door. "Don't worry I'll get it!" I think I heard a muffle thanks coming from the bedroom.

I opened the door and the building manager was there. "Welcome. I hope you are all settled in. I'm just letting you know that our kitchen offers a free extra large pizza to new tenets. So just call down and the coupon should be in the folder you revived this morning."

"Thank you very much. I'll make sure I take you up on that offer." I closed the door and got back to work. "Who was at the door?" Jc asked when he came into the kitchen with Sammy and Matt. "Building manager. Apparently we get a free extra large pizza on move in day."

"Oh well we just order some pizza and I'm going to pick it up now." Sammy said. "Yeah and I'm going with him so we can pick up Connor as well." Matt said then they walked out the door.

"So is the office all set up and our bedroom?" Jc nodded his head yes. "Now it's your turn with the decorations."

By the time my brothers returned with the pizza I had the kitchen organized and the living room cleaned and decorated. What can I say I can do things very fast when Jc is out of my way.

"Alright the wifi is up and running." Jc said coming out of the office and there was a knock the door. "It's open." I said knowing it was Matt and Sammy.

Matt, Sammy, and Connor came through the door with pizza and other stuff that we need. "Thanks guys for getting that." They walked over to the island and sat all of the stuff done.

"The place looks great you guys." Connor said looking around. "Yeah it could use some art work or pictures on the walls." Surprisingly these walls were pretty tall being in a building with other apartments.

"You guys should get a photoshoot done." Sammy said. "Yeah. Totally." I said opening up the pizza boxes. "I think James knows a guy who can do studio and location shots."

I looked over at Jc. "Would you want to do it?" He just shrugged his shoulders. "Gee Jc. An actual answer would be nice."

"Ok Grace. I would like to do a photoshoot. Better?" He said serving himself some pizza. "Thank you." "So I'll talk to mom."

After some pizza and hooking up the TV to the Xbox my brothers and Connor finally left. "Do you want to see the office?" We walked back to the second bedroom where we have our office.

The studio lights where set up in our filming corner and the tripod was also set up. There was two Macs next to each other with a light letter J and G where in between the computers. And of course there where two office chairs.

"It looks good. It needs some pictures now." I turned on the letters and it looks amazing. "Looks good. You should come and see the bedroom. I was the only one that I would aloud in the room."

We left the office and walked next door to our bedroom. Jc opened the door and our wonderfully decorated bedroom. "Wow. You did this all by yourself?"

"Well thanks to the Internet and Pinterest I was able to get it nicely decorated." I looked around and it was all nicely decorated. "I love it. Now I want to go to bed."

I went over to the closet and opened the doors and I started to search for some of Jc's sweatpants. "Grace you aren't going to find my sweatpants in there." I grabbed a random shirt.

I walked over to the dresser and I grabbed some athletic shorts. I walked into our bathroom which had the same color scheme as our bedroom and I started to change into my pajamas.

"Grace, what do you want to watch on Netflix?" Jc said in a sing-songy voice. "Once Upon A Time please!" I took my glasses off and I washed my face. "Grace?"

"What Jc?" I said as I was pat drying my face. "Where's my phone?" I put my glasses back on and walked out of the bathroom. "Check the kitchen. That where I last saw it."

I started to pull the decorative pillows off the bed and I tossed them to the side. "Found it!" I climbed into bed and I sat my glasses on the side table.

I pressed play on the remote and the show started to play. "You seriously couldn't have waited for me?" Jc said as he entered our room. "Nope. I like this show way too much. Now hush up."

Jc got into bed and a episode later he was out cold. I finished watching another episode then I closed out of Netflix. I turned off the TV then I started to fall asleep.
