Saving Grace

Chapter 13

Grace's POV

"Grace. Wake up." I felt someone rubbing my back. "Ugh.. I don't want to get up." Someone sat down on the bed next to me. "Come on. We're finally home."

I looked out from under the covers and Jc was sitting there. "Alright. I'm awake." I got out of the bunk and started to pack everything up.

I quickly got dressed in my outfit (in media bar, left outfit) and I unloaded my stuff from the RV. "It feels good to be finally home." I said when I walked back into my bed room.

I put all of my dirty clothes in the hamper to be washed later. I cleaned out some of my drawers for Jc's stuff when he officially moves into my room. I reorganized my closet to make even more room for Jc's stuff.

I walked back out of the house and to the RV and continued to unload everything. "Hey Grace within the next couple of days can you come shopping with me? For you know what." Connor whispered into my ear while I was packing up the kitchen area. "Sure Con da Bon. How about we go tomorrow late morning or early after noon?" He nodded his head and it was settled.

After three hours of unloading the RV we were finally finished. Matt and Connor went and dropped off the RV. "Hey Grace, want to give me a hand with my stuff?" We walked into Jc's room and he started to pile everything up on his bed.

I grabbed everything that needed to be put away in drawers and I took them over to my room. I was putting them away in the drawers that I cleared out and Jc was coming in with the stuff that needed to be hung up.

"Where do you want me to put these?" I pointed to the spot where I cleaned and he hung his clothes up. Just then my phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I said when I answered. "Is this Grace Mathars?" A lady said into my ear. "This is she." I put it on speaker when Jc left the room.

"I'm Jane Ralston. Me and your father had an affair." I sat down on the bed. "What is your reason for calling?" "I would love for you and your siblings to meet your half-sister. We're planning on going to North Carolina sometime within the next couple of days for you guys to meet."

"I would love to meet her but the problem is that we aren't in North Carolina anymore. We're all located in Los Angeles California." Just then Jc came back into the room with the remainder of his stuff.

I muted my end so she couldn't hear me, "it's the mother of my half-sister so please be quite." I said before he had a chance to say anything. I unmuted the phone, "that's not a problem because we live in San Diego."

"Perfect. So you'll be in contact?" "Yes. Nice talking to you Grace." She hung up the phone. "What was all of that about?" Jc asked me sitting down next to me on my bed.,"She wants me and my brothers to meet our half-sister."

I got up and walked out to my room. I walked down to the end of the hallway to the master bedroom also known as Connor's room.

I knocked on the door, "come in." Connor said within the bedroom. When I walked in Connor was sitting on his computer going through Tumbler and Matt was on his laptop probably doing the same thing.

I sat down on the bed next to Matt and in fact he was on Tumbler. "Hey Matt you know how we have that half-sister?" "What about her?" He said scrolling through whatever tag he was looking at. "Well her mother contacted me and she wants us, as in everyone, to meet her."

He stopped scrolling and looked at me. "Really?" Connor even paused his scrolling to look at me. "Yeah. Apparently they live in San Diego and they'll be coming to visit in the next couple of days."

"Oh my god. I can't wait!" He continued scrolling through Tumbler. "Hey Connor can I talk to you for a little bit?" He got up from his desk. We walked out and to the kitchen, "I'm sorry to pull you away from your desk but are we on for tomorrow?"

"We'll leave at ten because nobody is up at that hour." We shook hands and went back to our separate bedrooms.

"I thought you were mad at me." Jc said pulling me into a hug when I entered our room. "I'm not mad at you. I just needed to tell Matt that new info and I talked a little bit with Connor."

"How about you pick out something pretty ans we'll go on a date. Just the two of us." He gave me a kiss on the cheek and left our room.

I got dressed in other outfit (media bar, right outfit) and started to do something with my hair. Jc came back into the room and started to get dressed on his side of the room.

I French braided my hair and I put on my heels. "You ready to go Grace?" Jc asked me checking his hair in the mirror. He was wearing a button down shirt, jeans, and a pair of Vans.

"Yeah and might I say you look mighty handsome." I said getting up from my vanity. "Well you look very beautiful Grace." He gave me a kiss on the cheek.

We both left our room and headed out to the car. "So where are we going?" "We're going to go where the night takes us."

We drove around town and did some sight seeing. I've been in LA for almost two weeks and I've never really seen any of it. We hiked up to the Hollywood sign. More like Jc carried me because I decided to wear heels.

We had a sit down dinner at a semi fancy place. Man was that food was good. We continued to drive around town for another two hours just singing along to the radio.

When we got home we both went to back to our bedroom right away because we were tired from all the walking. I changed into a tank top and shorts and I got into bed. I turned off my lamp then Jc got into bed and turned off his lamp.

Today was a good day. I went out with Jc on another date. Me and Connor are going ring shopping form Matt tomorrow. I just couldn't wait!
