Saving Grace

Chapter 1

Grace's POV

I can't believe he was doing this to me. He was beating me. My own father beating me only because I'm a girl. He wanted another son but that didn't happen. He's been beating me since I was in the fourth grade when my mother left me and my dad. All of my older brothers are either away at collage or happily married. Me on the other hand is stuck here with my dad. I need to get away from him.

I'm going to California and that's final. I talked to my mom about it via email and she whole heartily supported my choice. I was going to meet my older brother Matt, his best friend Connor, and some members of Our Second Life in LA. I know very well who my brother's friend is he is the Connor Franta from O2L. He's also friends with all the other guys too so I'll be staying at the very famous O2L house.

I'm flying out tonight. My dad thinks I'm going to spend the night at my older brother Chris and his wife Jenna's house that night but I'm leaving and never coming back. Chris and Jenna are taking me to the airport where I'm going to say goodbye to them and my mom. I don't want to leave but I have to for my safety. I just can't wait to get to LA.

Jc's POV

We're cleaning the house right now because Matt's sister is coming to stay with us. From what I heard from Connor she's really pretty. She's going to have her own room which I'm currently painting teal and gray because those are her favorite colors. Matt ordered her a bedroom set from IKEA which is currently in boxes in the living room. We're all going to pick her up at the airport in a couple hours. By all of us I mean me, Matt, Connor, Ricky, Kian, and Sam. Trevor can't stay with us because he's still in high school but he comes and visits almost every single day after school.

*Two Hours Later*

We're all piled into Ricky and Connor's cars to head to the airport to pick up Matt's sister Grace. I could tell Matt was nerves because he doesn't want his dad coming after everyone involved in the situation. I understand where he's coming from, he doesn't want his little sister hurt even more then she already has been. We get into to the airport with a few minutes to spare until her flight comes in so we went to the Taco Bell next to the gate she was coming in from. I can't wait to see her again.

Matt's POV

I'm excited that my sister is coming to live with us but I'm also nerves about dad. I don't want him coming after mom, Chris & Jenna, me, Patrick & Rachel, Trent, Sam, or Grace. He can do what ever he wants. I just don't want any of my family members hurt. I just want to keep Grace safe. I know my friends want her to stay safe to.

A/N: Grace is the youngest of six. Chris is the oldest and he has a wife named Jenna, both are 30 years old. Patrick is the second oldest and Rachel is his wife they're both about 26/25 years old (Rachel is 25 years old). Trent is the third oldest and is about 24 years old in the story. Matt is the fourth child and is about 21 years old. Sam (not Sam Pottorff) is the youngest of the boys and is 19 years old. Lastly is Grace, she is 17 years old has brown eyes and hair with a dark red ombré.

Grace's POV

When we landed I was tired and excited to see my brother and his friends again. When I was coming through the Gate I saw Ricky with a sign that said 'Grace Mathars aka Matt's younger sister'. I laughed at the sign because it also included a picture of me and Matt when we were little. "Ricky!! Connor!! Matt!! Kian!! Sam!! Jc!! I'm here!! Where is Trevor? I thought he was going to be apart of this welcoming committee?" "Well he had a lot of homework to do and he couldn't do it at the house because we were too busy getting your room ready." Kian said. "I'm happy your here and safe baby sis. I hope you like your room we spent all day working on it just for you." Matt said while giving me a hug.

I was wearing a black tank top, medium wash skinny jeans, my Frantastic Monday sweatshirt, black toms, my black glasses, flawless beanie, and I had my favorite blue and teal book bag plus my teal and purple penny board. After I was done hugging everyone we went to get all of my suitcases. After we got my stuff we headed to the cars. Most of my stuff went into Ricky's car because he had more room. I was riding with Connor, Matt, and Jc. Ricky, Kian, and Sam where in Ricky's car with my stuff.

It wasn't an awkward car ride. We were to busy jamming to music and volgging. "And right next to me is this awesome person named Grace. She's Matt's little sis and we will be doing a video on my main channel soon so check that out." Jc said as he turned off his camera. "I'm not doing a video with you." "Come on. It would be so much fun!" "Fine. I'll do it but you owe me Taco Bell now".

When we all got home the boys started to get all of my stuff out of Ricky's car. I went inside to check out my room. It was painted my favorite colors and I had a Queen sized bed in the middle of my room. I notice that my door was next to the door with the JC on it. The I realized that I had Matt's old room and he moved in to the old office. The room right next mine is Jc Caylen, my YouTube crush.

"Hey Grace! It's time to film my video for my main channel." "I'm coming!" I took off my flawless beanie and put it on my dresser that matched my bed frame. "So I decided that we would do an ask Jc and Grace. Is that ok with you?" "Yeah that's ok with me."

Jc's POV

I turned on the camera and did my usual thing. "Whats up guys!!!! ...... Jc here. And today I brought a special guest with me. Introducing Grace! She's Matt's little sis who is going to be staying with us for a while. Say hi to the people Grace." "Sup guys Grace here, today we'll be doing a Q&A for you guys." "I tweeted out the #AskJCandGRACE for you guys to submit us questions so lets get started."

"From @iLUVJcCaylen: Grace, what would you do with each of the O2L members?" Grace responded saying "I would get coffee with Connor, Twerk and watch Pokemon with Ricky, go to In'n'Out with Sam, cuddle with Jc, sing with Trevor, and make people laugh with Kian." "Ok next question, from @Matt21: Jc I dare you to kiss Grace and if you don't I will throw your favorite snapback in the pool. Well then since I like Grace and not because I don't want my favorite hat ruined I WILL KISS GRACE! DID YOU HEAR THAT MATT?" "Yeah I heard that" Matt said.

I lean in and close my eyes then are lips brushed each other's lips. It took her a few seconds until she finally kissed me back. And there was sparks. A few seconds later I heard some camera clicks then I broke away from Grace. "What the heck guys?" I saw Grace's face and she was blushing. She was so cute when she blushes. Was I falling for Matt's little sister?
