chapter 1

louis was locking up 'sunshine cafe' when he heard sirens come blaring by. he turned around just as what looked like a stolen car whizzed by followed by about 20 cops. louis rolled his eyes at how dumb that person could've been to steal a car in broad daylight. see louis didn't get scared by danger he just didn't like it, he found it stupid.

he got to his car and started it up. adele came on and he smiled, he loved that woman, probably the only woman he would ever love other than his mother.

louis came out as gay his senior year of high school, he always knew he was gay he was just scared to announce it. his mum knew but he lived with her so it was hard to hide it.

his bestfriend niall wasn't all that surprised "ah come on tommo i see you lookin at connors ass any chance you get" that's what niall said when louis came out to him. niall was as straight as a nail but when it came to ryan gosling that nail melted.

niall was louis' only friend, he wasn't exactly popular but he wasn't "lame" either.

he didn't have any crushes on any guys except for maybe a little flutter in his chest when ever connor blake would look his way, but that was about it.

louis had a type, he liked tall muscular men with green eyes and brown hair. if the hair was curly louis would be on his knees in no time. so it didn't make sense as to why he got all shy when a long blonde with brown eyes named connor blake would talk to him.

louis had just graduated university that year and he still hasn't gotten a boyfriend or lost his virginity, he wasn't too worried. school, work, family came first to him always. second was friends and relationships. niall understood that but he also wanted to be included in the first category so he works at the cafe with louis.

as louis was driving down the street he looked up at the sky for a second and noticed it was a clear summers day, which was rare in london, he decided to take this opportunity and go to the park to read.

he got to the park and went to find a bench with out bird shit all over it. he finally found one and sat down. he took out his book that he's probably read over 25 times 'the great gatsby'. as he's reading he kept lifting his eyes and would sometimes watch the children terrorize the pigeons and then get scolded by their parents.

he finished reading what he wanted to read and also when he started to get sweaty and sticky. as he got up he looked across the street and saw a tall man get into his jet black lamborghini and speed off down the street. normally he wouldn't take notice of something like that considering london is a loud city but the man was wearing all black and a big black coat and it was blazing hot so louis thought that was pretty odd.
